I don't think it's right that waitresses work for tips. How many times have those tips already been taxed??? Waitress should be able to make no less than minimum wage per hr plus tips. To me tips are optional so why should they have to claim them at all?????
Most of the service jobs are not paying minimum wage. The difference is made up by tips, and that still may not make up the difference. My son worked at a restaurant, and when I called to report this to the government that handles it that is what they told me.

Our Supreme Court needs to keep our Constitution and Articles in front of the all the time. I don't think that they need to wait for a case to be brought before them. They can see what is going on with our borders and they should know what our Constitution says about the requirements and time length to become a citizen of United States of America. I'm 81 years old and I hate to memorize The Constitution and the Articles when I was in 7th grade and nd get up in front of the class and recite it. Now that was a real teacher I am also old enough to remember seeing those immigrants getting off those ships on Ellis Island with their Passports and legal papers to enter the United States of America in their hands. Our Supreme Court has really failed in their duty to protect all that our Construction holds dear to protect our great nation and they have allowed this present administration to destroy our United States and the greatest president the United States has ever had in our entire history President Donald J. Trump. Our Supreme Court has failed miserably to protect the citizens of our great country by looking on and sitting there in their black robes and allowing this to happen. Our Supreme Court is supposed to be the very elite of our justices in our United States. And shame on them for not protecting their own citizens.
Not saying anything against or for any candidate, but as to the person in the audience, if it is hard to make ends meet, WTF are you spending $$ on tattoos? Blue or Red, get your house in order. And, as to tips - why don’t we force employers to pay a decent wage and do away with tipping. Tipping is getting out of hand and yes, I have worked jobs that relied on tips. You don’t like your financial situation, develop some other skills and get a better paying job.
