Rum’s pen game is the main thing everybody talks about with him. Not underrated at all in that aspect. His performance has gotten much better. Before, it was just a bunch of hand signaling standing in one spot. Hitman vs Nitty would’ve been a much better battle than Nitty vs T-Top.
I get what Diz is saying at some points about Surf’s first but he’s overly critical a lot over stuff that continuously works on the URL stage... “how that happen.. he look flexible” is crazy off of how he said it alone.
ZrACKs ultRa I wouldn’t call it better than Nitty’s though, and I said possibly 3-0, which means it’s not definite...Nitty was cooking as well. It was literally back to back, creatively written bars, with delivery and performance to match. Bars that nobody has ever thought of using, especially against Surf. The whole battle was like that for Rum. Also, the stumble made no difference in his performance and delivery. The crowd was only interested in seeing Surf winning, and they were quick to turn on Nitty despite recovering within what...3-4 seconds? I have seen Tsu and other rappers stumble on their words for much longer than that (a lot of time chokes), but nobody booed them for that. Rum was consistent, and his writing was on a different level. Tsu Surf fell into his old habits, in which Nitty predicted. Rum was also right that this wasn’t a classic, because the battle was a clear victory for him. 2-1, 3-0, point blank, Nitty still won.
THE BRAN WAY Everybody’s biased. Not much of a statement. You said both their 1st rounds are god-level, but don’t explain at all how you believe Surf did better. I gave 2-1 clear, and said POSSIBLY 3-0. I already said to the last guy that doesn’t mean it’s not definite. Either way, I had Rum winning, and so did most of the people I came across. Who did you have winning? Surf?

I have Rum winning the second round also. I think Diz didn't cuz of the way seemed like Surf had rebuttals for some of Nittys bars in the second... like the dog scheme and the dbz shit. I think Surf already had that in his round but Diz is a fan of rebuttals and freestyles so I think he might've bought into that. If it wasnt for that I'm sure he would've gave Nitty the second aswell.

Diz said it best when he said why he can't give the first to surf. I'm tired of seeing hype and performance matter more than anything. Nitty has performance as well, but he wasnt on his return. Nitty had a slight slip up which they would have let go if it wasnt surf. Its like lux vs cal. Cal slipped once, and they booed him. Bars and performance both together matter, but surf was average in the first, a few good hits, but rum was way too much . Its a 3-0 . And he 30d roc, but nobody gives the credit. Geechi says lowkey rum is the best lol. Everyone knows he is and just wont say it.
