I know some people don’t like this, but I thought Tyla’s outfit was an imaginative take on the whole theme of the show, “Garden of Time.” She was going for the “time” part (she had the hourglass with the sand in her hand, they were emphasizing her hourglass figure…). The people showing up are encouraged to take different tacks on that theme. Some approach it strictly from a “wearable fashion” point of view, others from a more artistic or “conceptual fashion” standpoint. It’s the MET Museum gala after all, and fashion is art… and fashion is business. One thing they definitely want is people wanting to see what the participants are wearing and talking about it for days or years to come. Smart choice of outfit on her part. (Plus it plays into the whole “Water” thing too.) It’s advertising for the MET, the celebrity, and the designer. Tyla’s making a name for herself and everyone’s talking about her and the MET gala now. She’s featured by herself in this and many other videos, isn’t she? Assignment understood… challenge accepted… mission complete! …She even has Prince Harry to help her with her dress. Lol. 😂
