Five-star Georgia quarterback commit Gunner Stockton made a statement on national television, scoring seven touchdowns in one game. Here are the highlights. An interview follows the action.
@@Upper_Middle_Trash congrats on the win. He didn't put up video game numbers though. And he was sore the next morning. Pierce's 3 dropped interceptions we're huge blows.
@@Upper_Middle_Trash yeah apparently someone set the timer wrong 😂. But I'd have to say the biggest blow to us was that mysterious offensive pass interference on that TD that was gonna tie the game lol. It was a great game though, awesome atmosphere.
I mean really playing a real bad team. If you score 7 touchdowns you dam sure dont have a defensive backs. It would be impressive if it was a division championship.
@@morganadamo4706 look at teams like ohio st, Oklahoma, Alabama and they beat teams 70 to 0. I believe they score 10 a game. But high school teams is nothing to score 9 or 10 touch downs. When you play 9 players on the line it makes it easy for a fast receiver to be open constantly.
Wish some of the video was from behind the line to see exactly how bad his footwork is. He hops as he throws on quite a few of those throws. Don't know if that's a height issue or just poor mechanics/instruction.
It’s not an issue yet, when he gets to UGA they will definitely make sure his mechanics are better, he’ll even have a year or two to get it right before he’s starting. Not a big deal as of rn
@@joedyer5486 I'm not saying the kid isn't a very talented football player, BUT he is a highly recruited QB. Let me ask you this, how many times do you see top level QBs in college or the NFL make hopping throws? I'm glad he's a UGA commit. As Caleb noted, he will likely need to get his mechanics sorted out before or while at UGA. Heck, JT had a few hops on some of his deep throws last year and those were the ones that ended up being short and caused the WR to break stride.
