How important is it to be one spot ahead of the next guy? Is it because you have to reach your destination 5 seconds earlier? It is interesting to me to see people who can not let go of being first in line.
You clearly are not watching the vid, or you have no driver experience. Or may be you need to watch the vid again, I bet thats the prob, watch the video again.
Exactly. The cars initially in view had to perform a zipper merge into one lane before joining the cross road. This is not a suitable place for the SUV on the cross road to enter the flow of traffic, because the other drivers are preoccupied with safely merging with each other. Ordinarily the lane markings and signage will indicate this, but it's still common sense regardless, and it's still the law. It does seem in this case that the merge zone was somewhat short, so the transition between the lane merge and the crossroad merge is not as clear as it would be ideally. But that's why we have to pass a driving test, to demonstrate that we understand such things, so that we can't plead ignorance when behaving badly.
Pretty sure hes not that smart to know hes gonna splash the car with what hes doing. He merely wanted to confront that driver and just happened to be a DEEP puddle.
Love it, as you can tell near the end of the video the guy was pissed and started chasing the SUV. I would knocked the brakes off the guy in the car tho.
If you look, it's a 3 lane road which ends in a one lane road. Look at 0:04 - 0:06 you can see that the lane the silver SUV was in ended (the white solid line was indicating to merge as that lane ended there), He was suppose to merge where the red/maroon SUV was in but doesn't. Looking at 0:08 - 0:10 you can see that the silver SUV was way out to the left (looked like it was on the other side of the road). Regardless if You're lane ends you must give way to the right. Generally in a merge it's whoever is in front but It looked like the 3rd lane (the silver SUV was in at the beginning) was not a merge but a lane ending while the other 2 lanes seem to be a merge some meters further ahead. A merge is where the 2 lanes go to 1 with that 1 lane being formed in the middle of the 2 lanes (hence the name merge). A lane end is where the lane ends and is like a turning lane (Imagine turning onto a highway where you're lane ends, you have to wait at that end until it's safe for you to go, unless done earlier, hence the name lane end). Remember we see 3 lanes then there is 1 at the end. 3 lanes merge to 1????3 lanes, 1 ends then few meters on the other 2 lanes merge to 1. Conclusion the SUV was at fault and seem like they were breaking the laws before they got to the merge.
I've seen this before. What you didn't show was the sedan had his passenger side window rolled down. So when the Mercedes hit the puddles he basically filled the guy's car with muddy water....He was so not impressed....lmao
I've seen this clip before with editorial. They don't mention it in this one but when the SUV was trying to squeeze out the Sedan, he noticed the driver's window was down. So when he sprayed the car with the puddle...someone got soaked! LOL
+Thorgious That's not funny. The car could have got mould growing on the seats and the upholstery, unless they were leather, in which case it could simply be wiped away with a cloth, a towel, a paper towel or just the sleeve of a jacket.
+MrSupercar55 we are all very impressed with your "auto cleaning" skills lol. but I'm not getting the point. the guy was being a jerk so his car got wet. yes it will mold unless it's cleaned maybe next time he will remember that when he wants to be a D bag
Thorgious To be honest, I don't know who the D bag is. Russian roads have very few road markings, some of the absent road markings may be crucial ones that determine who has the right of way, such as stop lines. As a result, it is all too easy for one to assume that they have the right of way and end up colliding with another motorist who's made the same mistake.
The only thing I'm confused about is the title. Was the SUV stopping and waiting for the auto to catch up so the SUV could soak the auto the "strike back"?
I don't condone road rage, but that splash was MASSIVE and must have wreaked havoc through that open window. I don't condone it... but still, that was some Savage timing.
In a very beginning there is a road marking for a reason. And that reason is no overtake, because there's obviously two-way traffic ahead. It looks like the driver of that SUV had no intention whatsoever to merge.
I try to take turns when merging, and most people are polite and also take turns. Once in a while someone gets pushy. I always let them in. No big deal, maybe they have a choking child in the car who has to get to the hospital!
man did you see all that work he put in to try and piss him off? the maneuvering the timing the now fucked up suspension! ... yea! all the other guy had to do was use the wipers
i found this clip while googling "tiny cars and road rage" ..I wish I could have shared this experience ..LOL tiny car road rage is wrong on so many levels
if i remember right from seeing this clip in the past the SUV noticed that the kerbside window was open on the car so thats why the SUV was waiting by the puddle
The SUV was the road rager. If he would have used his turn signal, I'm sure the gy in the car would have let him over. I slow down and let people over when they respect me in my lane enough to turn on their signal to tell me they're coming into my lane. When somebody just merges over right in front of me, it's basically like saying, "Screw you, I don't have to tell you anything. I own the road." Show respect people and you'll get treated with respect back.
