You can play RU-vid videos on Android Auto in any car. A new app called CarStream allows you to play RU-vid videos on your car's infotainment display. To watch RU-vid on Android Auto, you must first install the CarStream and Android Auto apps on your phone. Once installed, connect your phone to the car’s dashboard via USB or Bluetooth, and follow the steps.

not working in Android 14 (Samsung S23). apps installed succesfully, shows in android auto head display. But it only shows ' no new messages during this drive'. RU-vid is not opening in it.

It's not working for me. I also have the pro version of AAAD. IDK why but I'm thinking maybe it's because I'm running Android 14 Beta 5.1? Idk 🤔💬

So finally got the app to be recognized in the screen but when opening the app on the sync 4 it only says no new messages during this drive. It's teasing this as a notification reader and not showing the browser etc

For this to work, follow -> Enable developer mode in Android auto, then in Android auto tap the 3 dots, top right corner. Select developer, select unknown sources. Restart and it will appear

Any car... maybe but not any phone. AAAD & Carstreamer do not work on Pixel phones with latest Android.

Great video - but it must be old. App does not show in android auto. Its broken. Installed latest version on galaxy s21. The Carstream app does also not show up in android auto setting. Tried to clean cache and do a restart of the phone which did not help.

Hi. In Android Auto settings go down to version and tap it 10 times to get developer mode. Go to 3 dots top right and select developer mode. Enable unknown sources.

I installed this today, and Carstream does show up on the entertainment screen in my car, but I only get audio and no video. It wont work because s22 has android 14. I was abke to get the app to appear in the phone but videos wont work. "No new messages" error appears. This seems to be a problem for anyone with android 14 OS.
