I just bought this watch new for £42 and I am very pleased with it. Nice quality for the price. I was surprised to find that the silver compass bezel is actually metal. The display is very clear and readable from all angles except below, strangely. I like the look of it too, very purposeful with no silly sub dials. Finally, 200m water resist, which is twice the rating of most other compass watches, including Casio's own Protrek models, which cost way more. In short, a bit of a hidden gem at a bargain price.
i wish they made a digital twin sensor (with barometer) that has an analog time representation like the Ae1200 has. that way you'd still be able to tell north and have the weather alarm and altitude data without the triple sensor price..
Got one , clear to see had about 5 yrs think the battery is due for a change cheers shane , bought also the f91w and the 5610 this wk thank you for the vid
Thank you for the reviews are absolutely great. Let me ask you do you still have your helicopters? which ones do you have? and are you still flying? Would love to see more videos on that. thank you for your time
Looks like the stopwatch only goes for 1hr (59’59”)...I prefer at least 24hrs...or extra hours recorded below with the 00 is displayed?? Sorry, found out from another vid that those are 1/100th seconds...anyways, be nice if you would demonstrate start/stop/reset buttons for more details.
Hey I was wondering, does the compass mode stay on after selection or does he stop after a fiew seconds ? Because I would like to have a watch that can display a compass all the time and just a gadget option that goes off after 5 seconds, thanks a lot and sorry for my poor english
Thanks for the review, just got this watch and still figuring out all the functions. Is there a light setting to make the light come on with every button push? For example, cycling through the modes and the light comes on? My Timex expedition has this function but I can't find it on this one.
@@HarryBunnGRVOTV Hello! I would like to know if this watch has that kind of feature, where when you would turn your wrist the watch screen lights up for couple of seconds (like in Casio sgw 1000 when you press the light button for couple of seconds.)
I think mines needs to be repaired.. While changing the battery, and installing a brand new one... I think I may have damaged it because some of the buttons won't work.
My take on the watch: nice, but DISPOSABLE. The strap is non-standard (no chance of putting a generic strap on there). Amazon has the watch for $30, and the replacement strap for $20. So, if the strap breaks, you are better off just throwing it away and buying a new one. I don't know why Casio insists on using strange straps, and adorning the watch with advertising.
I thought Casio just made crap digital watches with absolutely no street cred. That was until I saw a video with bebe rexha wearing a smart white G shock which I'd never heard of. I now own 2 G shock watches then bought the one reviewed here plus 3 more. Am I becoming a Casio groupie?
Body temp may heat up the case of the watch, so you'll need to remove your watch to get room temp correct reading. I guess it's most probably technically feasible to resolve this issue, but we can't ask much for such a low price!
