One of my favorite Denzel Washington movies. Definitely in my top 5 Denzel movies. Also, Don Cheadle should have been nominated for a Best Supporting Actor at the Oscars! Major snubbed!

Definitely one of my favorite Denzel movies.......but you should definitely check out more of his older films. Check out: Ricochet, the Bone Collector, Pelican Brief, Remember the Titans, Flight and Philadelphia.

I watched this back in the 90's when I was like 14 or 15. This movie was so good, for a while all I read was the Easy Rawlins novels by Walter Mosley

That time Hollywood used Jennifer Beals' racial ambiguity as a literal plot twist lol. "HE'S MY BROTHER!" That moment is literally all I remember from this movie lol...

The fact that they never made a sequel to this movie even though there are several books in the Easy Rawlins Mysteries is almost criminal, but to be fair both Denzel and Don's careers blew up after this.

Read the Walter Mosley novel that this film is based on. It’s a brilliant work of noir fiction. Also, I named my cat, Mouse, after the character in the novel.

NGL, it's cah-ray-zeee that you reacted to this movie... Before this, I thought of this movie and thought that Denzel's character is Adison and Don Cheadle's character is Brandon. Then Brandon says: "I feel him" - refering to Mouse in the scene where he chokes Joppy. 😆😁
