Watching EVERY Titanfall 2 Cinematic & trailer in 2020 

Slide hoping and grapple sling shots are just godly if you can implement them in your play style. I just love whooshing around the map in seconds (not exaggerating, you can literally do this easily with some guidance). Oh and you spitfire mains, why. Just why do you think cloak and spitfire works? It’s not hard to see a weird haze coming after you with jump jet trails behind you.

not only does it compliment TF better because of the map size, but CoD just cant make it feel fluid. The momentum in cod feels really clunky and doesnt carry through

For real. It sadly never had a real chance, releasing right between a Call of Duty and battlefield game like one week apart from each other. It had no chance but it was crazy good and it really would have deserved the success.

I dont think respawn wants lootboxes in their games either mah dude. they were bought out by EA about a year after titanfall 2 came out. the only money things in TF2 were skins that you picked and not a random lotto game. Respawn themselves are really cool people and listen to their community but EA is the grimiest company out there. As far as "what's Meta?", you are really holding yourself back asking those kinds of things. i played from launch to roughly 2 years after and never once did i feel it went stale. the only reason i dropped it was beacuse i switched to pc and by that time the player count was low so long queue timers. I cant tell you how stupidly fun it is to zip around with a kraber/epg and wreck shit because i put effort into getting to know my gun/movement systems. There were only a few guns that i felt were cheezy (g2, car, r-201) but other than those all the guns felt really fun. I even had the luck to run into GameSager himself mid match and was able to hold my own. He was running with freinds who were watching his back though and at the time i was solo so i died often.

Respawn was in mid development of Titanfall 3 while also experimenting with a Titanfall BR. They decided to scrap TF3 to make Apex which EA was actually quite uncertain about. EA had no hand in the development of Apex and it was 100% Respawn’s decision to make a free to play BR game with lootboxes. As much as I want to blame EA, Titanfall’s abandonment was a decision made by Respawn. If you watch interviews with Respawn, they always get super uncomfortable when people ask about Titanfall and try to hide it under the rug as soon as possible. They rarely even acknowledge the game’s existence. The only thing we’ve heard about Titanfall 3 actually comes from EA execs saying they don’t want to abandon the IP, but knowing EA that’s just fluff that doesn’t mean anything. I hate to say it, but EA isn’t to blame for the state of Titanfall, Respawn is. As for the meta, I have played Titanfall 2 since launch and logged over 51 days of total playtime. If you played for 2 years and switched to PC you haven’t really experienced how bad things have gotten. Spitfire campers aren’t a problem on PC from what I’ve heard, but on console you run into them pretty much every game. Some of these guys have upwards of 30,000 kills with the Spitfire/G2 alone, and they turn the game into an absolute slog of frustration. The glory days of Titanfall 2 are long over, which is so sad considering how great the game was back in late 2017 after most of the problems were fixed. But then Respawn made one last balance patch and within a year, almost all content creators up and left. Anyways, you probably shouldn’t listen to me as I’m particularly sore about the future of Titanfall. Mostly because I spent 2 years creating a massive in depth video series about what I want to see in TF3 only to hear that the game was cancelled right when I uploaded all the episodes. 2 years of hard work and theory crafting ideas for a game that most likely won’t exist. On an unrelated note, you’re pretty lucky to run into Sager. I got in a few games against him and got destroyed, but managed to barely beat him in the last match. He’s hard enough to kill, but he’s also surrounded by his cadre of pros which is brutal to go up against.
