@@cannibalteddy6846 i was refering to the chapter where he burns Cersei's letter where she begged him to fight in a trial by combat to prove her innocence, if I remember correctly (take in mind I read the books years ago) he finally figures out her manipulations and decides to stay in Riverland instead of helping her. He also thinks a lot about Brienne but he is too obvious to realise that he may have feelings towards her.

@@titoluizpereira6281 The fully trained faceless man is "no one" because he/she can take on any name and personality needed to get the assassination done and survive anything thrown at them.

@@Kayjee17 the faceless men are a cult, it's not summer camp or hero academia. To become No One, you need to be a cultist, believe their ideology and strip yourself of all your humanity and identity to serve The Many Face God. Arya did the opposite of that, she remained herself and only serve herself. The show made no sense at all.

It was just terrible plot . Really bad writing and after this Arya's character just become total smug. Showing off her skills and threatening people every five minutes.

@@AK-pw3oq kinda,made no sense that they made us think that that was Jaquens plan all along,like cmon they were so "invested" and serious in serving many faced God,and all of a sudden Jaquen somehow goes against all odds and traditions and says like "that was my plan all along" Aryas story just didnt make sense to have so much "DESTINY" in it,that reserved for other characters becuse it fits them,it doesnt fit Arya. To me also personally i think that i would conduct a better plot for Arya,which would at least result in killing of Jaquen once he tried to stop her and running away.

@@anatos1722 Arya's character never made sense from season 5. And after this scene she just become like Marvel superhero with her lame swag and threatening and showing off to everyone.

@@ryanhampson673 in the books, she was made to learn skills that aid assassins, like learning new languages and portraying different personas. The show leaned too far into the obscurity of the faceless men and spent two seasons making Arya do dumbass tasks that made no sense then ended the plot point with saying the theme of this ‘education’ was to make Arya realize the assassin life isn’t for her. Instead, she became immune to deadly wounds and realized she’ll always be ‘Arya Stark’ while also somehow becoming a good enough faceless man to assassinate an entire westerosi house with no repercussions whatsoever. Great storytelling am i right?

Nah, they're terrible. Bad writing, mindless action. The only good part is the first 20 minutes of episode 10. Episode 9 is the most overrated episode in existence, and the rest of episode 10 sucks.

@@michaelschaaf1155 I don't care about fans, they're the worst judge of a show's quality because they're unable to be objective and look at the show without biases clouding their judgement. People, in general, are also wowed by spectacle and action, so it's no wonder it is rated highly despite being a mess from a writing perspective. People love plenty of bad action-packed movies. It did die things together, but that's not the only thing worth considering. It tied things up lazily and messily. Go cry about negative opinions some more and enjoy your mediocre episode.

The character of Antonio Banderas comes early from a party in the hotel to see his room on fire, his kids with a syringe and a bottle of champagne, the bellboy holds a dead body found under their bed by the leg. He drops his deadly drunk wife on the floor and asks "Did they misbehave?" 😆😆😆

Next two episodes are overrated as hell.

@@Al-ji4gd absolute horrible take. Winds of Winter is perfect in every single way. Battle of the Bastards although technically isn't as good as Winds of Winter its so entertaining and action packed that its easy one of the best.

Winds of Winter has a great opening 20 minutes, the rest of the episode is just more of the same bland season 6 nonsense and bad writing. Battle of the Bastards is only good in terms of production value and how they managed to choreograph and film it all. The writing is bad, the action is hard to follow, and it ties up another useless plot point, same as everything else in S6. It's people like you who couldn't tell that the show was going downhill and would end up being trash by the end of it because you were so enthralled by simplistic writing and setpieces.

Score, acting, creating emotion, plot points etc. Just because the show failed to follow on afterwards from the plot points that doesn’t make that single episode bad. Winds of Winter set season 7 up perfectly, they butchered season 7 not Winds of Winter. For Battle of the Bastards I literally said it’s so good because of the action, I never claimed it had unreal writing😂the battle was not hard to follow in any way shape or form. It was actually a very easy battle to follow if you use your eyes and pay attention. However you bringing up the writing not being good and stuff means nothing to me cause I never claimed it was good in that episode. Seen as you found the battle hard to follow and didn’t read my comment properly, you should then take my advice of what I said earlier in this comment to use your eyes and pay attention. It may change your horrible view😂

​@@pleaseshush9800 First off, 'Battle of the Bastards' has the most horribly rushed conclusion in any arc in the show. They literally teleported Dany to Meereen for the dumbest battle just to get it out of the way so she could leave Slaver's Bay to go to Westeros, ''My reign has just begun'' and what does she do right after? Gets on a ship to Westeros and leaves everything to Daario LOL. The battle of the bastards itself made no sense from a strategic standpoint, the various story beats were incredibly forced and convenient, like Jon being an idiot just to get a cool shot of him from behind, and Littlefinger coming to the rescue when no one was expecting him. What?! No one bothered telling the Northmen that the Vale was coming to help? Sansa not being truthful and refusing to co-operate just so the Vale could be a surprise for viewers (ALL of whom expected them to arrive in the nick of time) Ridiculous. To top it off, the entire Iron Islands subplot with Theon and Yara was a complete waste of time. As far as the Winds of Winter is concerned, I have already said I liked the first 20 minutes a lot. However, it still has more Sand Snakes bullshit and teleportation that makes no sense. It still has the most cartoonish and laughable scene with Arya killing the Freys and Littlefinger being a weirdo for the millionth time. Benjen is there for no other purpose than to save Bran and never appear again until he conveniently is there to save Jon again. Pathetic storytelling. It also has the two most nonsensical coronations in GoT history with every suddenly being fine with Jon being King in the North despite being a Night's Watch deserter and nearly losing the battle of the bastards singlehandedly, and everyone being fine with Cersei being Queen even though she literally murdered almost every other highborn in King's Landing, including her family. Ludicrous. I know you're a fanboy, but keep your fawning to yourself and don't patronise me.

Agreed. I saw it the same way, except one change. Arya saying the sentence the way he taught her can also signify that she's taking the role of Arya Stark for now, for she has a mission to complete, countless names to offer to the Red God.

First, The Faceless Men did not serve the Red God, they serve The Many-Faced God. Second, that the House of Black and White is not a university, is a Church. To become No One is to be a faithful follower of the Faceless Men ideology, not "pass the exam". The show did a horrible job with Arya's arc, and there is no excuse to it. This is one of the worst episodes of the show.
