This is one of the biggest reasons why I'm no longer stacking DR. I've played Nova/Warrior/Valkyrie and you just can't achieve being ultra tank without sacrificing all your dmg. Stacking DR like this only works against gearlets.

Even the broken awaegu can only do so much when diving a ball bc of her small aoe. Meanwhile drak, woosa, awk nova, even casters can wipe a ball no problem But ofc I agree stacking eva makes u "seems" more tanky than stacking dr since most people don't stack accuracy. But people seems don't realise that eva stacking also makes u lose damage
@@amdmard1253 take an 1350 eva class and go fight against to 2 guys with 1k accu and see what happens, if u live more than 5 secs i'll consider u tanky.
@@Xibalbawaits I use a succession warrior with 276/431 stats and over 1100 accuracy against a eva class with over 1300 evasion. The reality is that almost 90% of my attacks miss. You might forget that almost all classes with basic evasion have s and crazy movement.
same thing for eva, if u can't kill an eva player then u have no proper accu build and eva stacker shouldn't have deal damage to you cause of damage sacrifice to reach 1400++ eva. when u reach 1000-1050 accuracy fighting against to evasion is like fighting against to tuvala geared seasonal player. DR is always has advantage on bdo cause of its offensive side, crystal freedom and freedom to run full ap/accu, expecting tankiness and high damage (as long as your class not broken like awk drak) is bs. it's easy to test, take a guy with 1400 eva and put 2 guys against with 1k accu, see how it gonna melt like ice cream in miliseconds.
1st of all, warrior didnt show crystals and buffs so we dont know if he dr stacking correctly(spec eva from crystals and food rotation), 2nd of all, dr stacking build only works for classes that have plenty of healing skills. The purpose of stacking dr is to barely wake up with 1 hp and abuse the healing ability, compare to eva build dr stack build can do more dmg cuz of nouver+ extra accuracy you get from dr gloves. How to build a class is fully depending on what class you play. Class with a lot s can go glass, class with shit ton of healing+dr passive or dr passive+high mobility(full kite if hp is low) can go dr stack
i feel like dr stacking drak being blasted by ap stacking awaegu would be much more relevant information given the current state of the game and the relevance of the classes
Isnt it 842,4 effective AP? Thought the human dmg is also rolling between 0,7-1. There was a document ages ago that meantioned DR´s scaleing stops being linear somewhere around 600-700 (i cant rememeber when exactly, its been to long) and deminishing returns start so to speak. Back then those numbers where impossible to test tho. Seems like it checks out. Would have expected muuuucccchhhhhh less dmg taken, now i rly wonder where exactly that sweet spot for DR is, if human dmg works differently vs DR and if there is like a "hard cap" for reduced dmg taken. With numbers like that he should have taken 0 dmg or close to it unless DR has a point where its effectivness drops hard. Also, was that before the DR/EVA changes?
Swap that meme neck with a pen debo, belt with pen debo, and one of the earrings with a pen debo. You lose like 10 DR, and will 1 combo the DK. You'll also be able to make up all that lost DR with pen cardy instead of PRI... TET if you want to be cheap.
So PRI Cadry/PRI River guy that can easily get 305 AP in Debos with the same or higher DR and onetap that DK can survive an absolutely perfect combo with all DK's cooldowns and stand still at the last bit for the video. Gee, that DK had better get at least 50 sheet AP more lest he meet someone with DUO Cadry Rings after they buff DR because it's so weak. Or he meets a Valk that doesn't stand still for a video and just pops a heal after getting up.
The one thing i dont like is how thw warrior is purposely not trying to escape the combo. Hes literally just sitting there artificially increasing the length of that combo. Also i guarantee you anyone that is ebuffed, zbuffed, coked out of his mind with elixirs would probably kill anyone in a combo that has a proper glass cannon build. Now i bet with all that dp, hes still able to one combo that dk.
DR sucks and theres too much damage in the game. Evasion is a crutch rather than a skill. Thats why 10 people can beat on an evasion target and the evasion person could kill, while a DR target would die instantly
if 10 people with 800 accuracy ofc they wont able to hit evasion, they wont able to hit even monsters. just put 1 guy with 1050 accuracy against 1350 evasion and see what happens, and put 1350 evasion guy against to 650++ dr succ wr and see what happens, people askin buff for dr are braindead gearlets and have no idea about builds, they don't know how ultra op gonna be dr when they buff in term of defense, because of DR's freedom of running ultra offensive builds. only "instant die" gonna happen in full rbf "glass cannon" dr, u can't kill instantly any 650+++ dr succ warrior or nova or valk or drakania. in video warrior could kill that "glass cannon" dk in a half of the half combo, "DR or Evasion never offer immortality, if u have enough ap u can kill any DR, if u have enough accuracy u can kill any EVASION" but yeah pearl abyss gonna listen those tuvala timmy crybabies "ooh evasion op buff dr i cant kill with my pathetic 840 accuracy" and gonna buff dr and will make this game more sh1tfest more than before, as they listened pve plebs and made this game pver paradise. thanks god i quit this clownfest

I believe every time we say nerf warrior. PA unironically does nerf warrior when it didn't need to be. I think if we told them to stop nerfing warrior for once they might stop? Just a theory
That's what imo kills BDO , making easier to play , just stack AP and u will be no matter how u play , relevant in fights , with the correct classes, and that's a shame.
The damage in this game among other things killed the idea of skill BDO. It used to be that gear differences could be overcome by outplaying but between gear and 80% pvp resistances the outcome of pvp doesn't seem to be anything close to skill related
