Imo, this Disney sequel is one of the strongest. I like how the story focuses on the background and development of Stitch but also adding more to Lilo’s character with the knowledge of her mother. The emotional moments hit the notes, especially at the end. Glad you got to experience Lilo and Stitch 2, Nick.🙂👍🏽
Yes ! By far best sequal because they didnt change the animation, the cast too much, the personalities, or the dialogue they had in the first like it was the same writes, aside from Extreme Goofy Movie( just my opinions) this is top tier how to make a sequel 😊
This movie endeared me to Jumba so much. 😭😭 He’s a small part but you really do see how much he loves his lil’ blue son. The moment at 26:39 heckin’ killed me.
@@angelinacamacho8575 such an underrated movie she was so good in that movie and basically anything she does especially man on fire or war of the worlds
For sure one of the best sequels! These movies are so good at depicting siblings, the scrubble between Lilo and Stitch is so relatable 😂 Also Nani trying to parent and comfort Lilo just breaks your heart, she truly is doing her best
This movie has such a soft spot in my heart. Lilo and stitch the movie was made for their tv series which was also solid. Great reaction and aloha from Hawaii 🌺
YYOOOO, the memories this brings back!! I remember watching this basically on repeat as a kid! It was one of the 2000s Disney sequels I grew up with more than original because I had it on DVD. 😅
That's what I thought, too. When I saw what movie was posted, I was like "Oh nooo!" The original Lilo and Stitch was one of the very few movies that made me cry. And... I actually enjoy crying to movies. At least, NOW I do... it took me a while (at a late age 35!) to notice firsthand that crying can release endorphins (those feel-good brain chemicals). It was actually "Inside Out" that did it. After that movie, I realized I was actually craving more tearjerkers and (since that was NOT typical for me), I was like "What the...?" But after doing a bit of research, it made sense. And ever since then I've been a tearjerker seeker. My reactions are quite random and unreliable though, so it's actually been a bit frustrating, lol. BUT the first time I saw "Interstellar" on my own, THAT definitely got something out of me... TWICE, and my wanting to compare my own reaction to others'... is how I discovered the entire genre of movie reactions (AND how I discovered Nick too!)
There are two other stitch movies. 1 is a pilot special movie to go into the disney tv series The last stitch movie is the finale that follows the end of the series
Definitely one of the better Disney Sequels. Infact, it's my second favorite after _The Lion King 2_ Not gonna lie, that scene at the end where it looked like Stitch died, the most I've ever cried from one of these sequels.
What I am about to say will make everyone probably feel old, but I remember renting this movie from Blockbuster! The ending always made me emotional with everyone upset he was gone and Lilo hugging Stitch. And I loved Jumba's concern for him and his new family throughout this whole movie. He tried everything in his power to save his creation, his son. And when he thought he lost him, he hugged Stitch close before passing him to Lilo. That was just...augh! I love this sequel so much!!!
Another wonderful reaction, Nick. I used to rent this dvd from the store all the time as a kid, brings back good memories. As always, I have such a lovely time watching your video! I always watch one of your videos before I go to sleep, your infectious joy and positivity just comforts me to rest well. Thank you for your dedication and for being you. I hope you’re doing well! Xxx
Dang it got me again! cried like a baby at the end. This is seriously one of my favourite disney squeals of all time and your reaction was so good! I just love how you watched this one after the first movie, seeing how Stitch the movie came out before this one (As much as I'm aware of) I grew up with lilo and Stitch. I hope you're doing much better!
This was a really good sequel. From the main storyline, to the comical stuff with Pleakly and David. "Look at her. Doesn't even know you're here." "Maybe that's because we're hiding."
This is my number one favorite of Disney sequels Bambi 2 and Tarzan 2 close behind. The ‘sibling’ fight is hilarious and pops into my mind at random moments regardless of how many years pass. So glad you are discovering the Disney sequels!
"I wish mom were here. I'm doing the best I can! Well it's not good enough! Don't you think I know?!" Nani noooo 😭😭 I realized that one way too late and it just broke my heart. The way she just said it like its obvious. And then: "Mom would be proud of you just for being you. You too." 😭😭😭 Lilo telling Nani she cant replace her mom but also telling her she never failed her as a big sister. I'm in shambles.
Aw man, I forgot how good this movie is. I can't believe I forgot how much I used to watch this as a kid (for some reason I watched this sequel more than the first when I was little)
As a side note when Pleakly asked David if his relationship is dying I'm almost certain that he is referring to Jumba💜😂💜... His mother wants to be filled in on how Jumba is doing, David doesn't question Pleakley on the relationship thing(which suggests he is in a relationship with someone), he also likes to cross dress a lot, and wants Jumba to open up to him emotionally and not keep secrets....Oh and they live together!🤣 Plus in one of the sequels Leroy and Stitch, Pleakley kind of has a 'suggestive' call with Jumba that basically confirms to me that they are dating. With all this in mind I believe that Jumba and Pleakly are possibly the first Disney gay couple, and the reason they were the first is because it was less controversial to have aliens be the gay couple since they wouldn't have to conform to human norms of the time🤷♀️🥰🥰🥰
I’m pretty sure the movie that they were watching for that family fun night segment was the 1954 film Them! This film was about giant mutated ants that attack people. I don’t know everything about it but that’s pretty much the main plot of the film.
NICK! I am not sure I mentioned this yet (I've been watching your reactions for a while but just recently figured out how to sign in to comment, LOL!) but... I know this may seem a bit belated, but... THANK YOU for making and posting your "Interstellar" reaction. Because... the first time I saw "Interstellar" on my own, it triggered tears from me (twice). While that may not seem surprising for THAT movie, it's very rare for any movie to do that to ME, so I started wondering "Ok, WHAT is this movie?!? Do OTHER people react this way?" And... that's when I discovered the entire genre of "movie reactions"... AND your channel! (Starting with your Interstellar reaction
I remember recording this movie when it first came on the Disney Channel about 15yrs ago. It soon became one my kids favorites. It got watched more than the original ❤
This movie is good for a Disney sequel, but it always ticks me off that Jumba and Pleakley don't tell anyone what's going on until the end. Stitch spent the whole movie thinking he was bad, and he almost lost his friendship with Lilo because they both thought his outbursts were his fault. If Jumba or Pleakley had told them about the glitch, everyone (including Stitch himself) would have understood WAY sooner that none of this was Stitch's fault.
I enjoyed this sequel, it was sadder than I thought it would be but the turmoil they had the characters go through made the story deeper instead of some shallow, comedic plot.
Fun fact in this movie Dakota fanning (hide and seek and because of Winn-Dixie) voices Lilo because the original actress (who was chihiro in spirited away and the girl in the ring) was working on lol and stitch the tv series
Never saw this one, thanks. On the Cinema Therapy channel they discussed the first one and said that Lilo was autistic. Makes sense why she has trouble making friends with the other girls.
Even though fun cool thing is that stitch makes his appearance in the kingdom hearts franchise he appeared in a three games like Kingdom hearts 2, Birth by sleep and Kingdom hearts 3 even I’ve been waiting for Lilo and stitch to return as world set in Hawaii since birth by sleep it only takes place in space where the world is called deep space
Stitch! The Movie is next after this, then Leroy & Stitch. I say this, because, basically the entirety of the events of Leroy & Stitch make NO sense unless you've watched Stitch! The Movie beforehand.
I will say that part of the context for Leroy and Stitch which is the beginning of it, you would need to watch the series to figure out the beginning of the movie but, if you can’t, you can figure it out from basic context from Stitch movie.
It's a little vivid but I remember watching this movie at a Sears store when I was maybe seven or eight years old and I cried my eyes out at the ending. 😭😭❤❤
The whole L&S franchise is actually very well thought out and animated. Even the series! However the Anime took a left turn with its set up, and can’t ignore that, but its concept is decent. The third movie Leroy and Stitch is a good ending for the franchise!
I have always had a soft spot for lilo and stitch despite that the fact the first will always be the best. This sequal wasn't too bad as far as Disney sequals go. It's not great but it's watchable and has its charm to. Stitch is so adorable in this movie to and the animation is good along with the music, acting, writing despite some rough spots, humor and it be in fm pleasant overall. The TV show and the other sequals are pretty good as well. That's why I think lilo and stitch is quite lucky in a way because none of them were outright bad.
In the original draft, the intention was for Stitch to actually die and stay dead. But Disney realised that: A. If Stitch dies, that means less merch, which means less money. B. Kids would be very upset and parents will complain.
I’d recommend if your also going to do Leroy and Stitch first react to “Stitch the movie!” Then Watching “Lilo and Stitch:The series” off camera then “Leroy and Stitch” seeing as it’s important to watch all 3 in order
I did not need to cry over a fictional alien dog that was just trying his best to be good while the glitch caused by the stupid police.. OKAY SCREW IT, I'M CRYING. AND IT'S ALRIGHT.
I won’t lie this one kinda fell off the radar for me, I remember watching it but it never stuck with me as much as the first personally. Should be fun to refresh my memory on it
I don't think you do requests, but i really would like you to see Uglydolls. In my opinion, it's a good movie with great songs. Again, I don't know if you do requests, but up to you nick!
do you do reactiosn for tv shows? sadly youtube hates my suggestions so can't really suggest anything ;-; but I would still be happy if you reacted to cartoons series sometime in the near future
Great reaction. This is the best movie out of the series and the most emotional. I love the message how the power of friendship can be such a huge impact. Lilo might not have won the contest, but she still had her Ohana which would’ve made her mom proud that she chose what was really important. I’d really like to see you react to Stitch The Movie and Leroy and Stitch just for you to see the other experiments (Stitch’s cousins). Another Hawaiian adventure film I love to recommend is Finding Ohana. 🌺🩷🧡🩵💙
In general straight to DVD sequels are god awful but I thoroughly enjoyed this one and watched it as much as the first one. Keeping that same beautiful art style and original cast was a good move and the story was good too.
Great Reaction .... I want to highly recommend you a criticproof INDIAN MOVIE... "R.R.R (RISE ROAR REVOLT) Which had taken the world by storm in 2022."
