Thank you for that shoutout! I'm always happy to tell people about Oswald! Another great way to know more about him is through Epic Mickey which does a great job in explaining his story and why he resents Mickey for "taking" his fame. I'm really hoping Dreamlight Valley references that somehow or dives deeper into his story. The cat's name is Ortensia :)

Loved watching these shorts with you. It’s neat seeing what was popular 100 years ago. Oswald’s girlfriend’s name is Ortensia. Oswald & Ortensia are also racers in Gamelofts other Disney game, Disney Speedstorm. In case you wanted to check how they are like on that game.

Fun fact: Oswald is actually married; first to Fanny Cottontail, and then to Ortensia the cat. He didn't have those 420 bunny kids out of wedlock, lol. I think you would've liked "Great Guns," too! There's one scene where he beats up a mouse, which now looks like unintentional foreshadowing to his sibling rivalry with Mickey Mouse decades later. XP
