I still love that Jameson stuck up for Peter parker. Even when threatened with death, he still says he doesn't know who gives him the photos. Still makes me think of the beautiful moment when Peter parker comes out as spider-man to him in the comics. All "I know you have me, and I know you may have any reason to hate me, I'm gonna leave the final assumption up to you." Being completely valuable to him and allow him to make up his own mind

The scene where Peter caught all the food on the tray was a real scene. It apparently took Tobey Maguire over 150 takes to get the scene right.

In the comics, the scariest thing in new york. Is when spiderman is quiet. Because it means hes pissed. A lot of criminals will fight spiderman knowing theyll lose. Cause they know the consequences and know they'll live. Plus hes always cracking jokes and what not. But when hes mad and hes silent. Criminals run. Supervillains run. When the kingpin went after peters family. He showed up as peter parker. And said something like, after wrecking him. He shoved his hand to his nose and said "all i have to do fill your lungs with web fluid and youll die in seconds. Spiderman doesnt kill people. But you came after peter parker. So thats who i came as." One of the coldest scenes ive ever seen in comics.

Green Goblin is honestly the best movie villain he gives you the creeps while also being intimidating with that pre MCU super soldier serum not to mention his maniacal laughter when he glides in is amazing no pun intended 🤣

1.Are these movies cheesy? Absolutely! But damn it, they have so much heart and passion put behind them that its easy to see why they're so iconic. 2. William Dafoe was literally perfect casting to play the Green Goblin. Its just a shame that he was forced to essentially hide his face behind a power ranger villain mask, which took away from an otherwise great performance. 3. J.K Simmons as J.Jonah Jameson was , yet again, perfect casting. Every scene with him is comedy gold. Hell, the man is so iconic that he's basically the default most people reference when talking about the character, he's *that* good.

I understand any reluctance or hesitation on your part, man. But trust me, it's for the best to watch the other Spider-Man films. Really adds savor to "No Way Home".

Lemme age myself real quick, but my Grandparents took my brother and I to New York when I was 10. We had a portable DVD player in the backseat and this was one of the movies we watched on Repeat! My brother used to throw stuff at me and be like “You’ve spun your last web, Spider-Man.”🙄

I rember when this came out, my best friend and I were so ready to finally see a live action spiderman, we are huge comic fans and we took a bus and walked 10 minutes to the theatre only to find out every seat had been reserved. My friend cursed everyone standing in line and we took another bus and found that the nearest theatre cost a few bucks more and we went and finally got tickets and loved it. Except the green goblin, that was ruined by the costume and the wierd eye reveal,lol eveyrthing else was awesome though🤘

These movies are the most accurate Spider-Man movies. Raimi nails the character of Spider-Man. Tom is a good spidey, but its more like the Disney version of the character. Tobeys Spider-Man is the closest to the Spider-Man I read about in the original comics.

Sam Raimi made cult classics. But his vision along with what we know from the comics was fantastic. The upside-down kiss was in fact 'the kiss of the year'. No.2 film of 2002. Opening weekend and the preceding box office was crazy. Spider-Man was always beloved. But this film made the legacy into a bigger phenomenon. Part 2 is one of the best sequels in the genre. Part 3..............you'll have to see for yourself (for real).

Im sure you're gonna watch the Amazing Spiderman films after the og trilogy at least i hope you do. Now i might be the only 1 who thinks this but i prefer those 2 films over these 3. Without giving anything away just yet i think theres alotta things the Amazing Spiderman films did better than the og trilogy the most notable is the love story. I believe the Amazing Spiderman did it better it was more realistic & more believable not to mention the love interest is better im not a fan of MJ in the OG trilogy & i dont think any1 should. Again i wont go into full detail just yet so for now ill only mention things from this film. 1 to me Kirsten Dunst doesnt really look like the MJ im use to imo a much better choice wouldve been Laura Prepon aka Donna from that 70's show. Besides her looks tho MJ isnt a good gf throughout the trilogy. In the beginning of the film shes with Flash Thompson aka Peter's bully but when they're on the class trip he tries to put his arm around him & is standoffish in the very scene shes being offly friendly with Harry & then Peter. Yet later when Flash comes to her house & has a new car shes all friendly now. Then when they graduated she breaks up with him seems like she used him since he was part of the rich popular crowd & she lived in the poorer neighborhood. Also she lived next to Peter since he moved in with his aunt & uncle & didnt even know or know him yet he did like when he said she was great in all the school plays. Now i know you said Harry is an a$$hole for going after her even though he knows Peter likes her & even though i wouldn't do it at the same time he kept encouraging him to go after MJ but he never did so he made his move. MJ got with him but yet again she was very cold with him even b4 Spiderman saved her. If you remember rt b4 Green Goblin attacks the board members during that parade Harry tries to kiss her & just like she did with Flash she shut him down even though he was nice to him. Then like you said she cheated on Harry by kissing Spiderman. Later she confesses to Peter that she loves Spidey even though shes with Harry but not even a min later when Peter tells her what he told Spidey about her she looked smittened for Peter so shes basically falling for 2 guys while shes still with Harry because she doesn't know theyre the same person. Oh i forgot that right b4 that scene when theyre having Thanksgiving dinner & Norman walks out he follows her & Norman starts bad mouthing MJ Harry does try to defend her by saying hes wrong about her but Norman keeps it up. When Harry goes nack in she gets on his case which maybe he could've done a better job of defending her but at the same time MJ knows what its like to have an overbearing dad so imo she shouldve known its not that ez & she shouldve emphasized with Harry & thats not taking into consideration how she treated Harry by not showing him affection & kissing another guy yet she has the nerve to get on his case. Finally at the end she ends things with him & tries getting at Peter which he rejects her for her safety & she seemed upset. Now it ends there so i wont go into detail about what happens in pt 2 ill wait til you react to that
