I am glad the Duffer brothers abandoned their original plan for Eleven and Max not to be friends.. once Millie and Sadie became firm friends on the set of season two they realised it would be a waste of that chemistry not to use it, also of course the abandoned plans to bring Eight to Hawkins this season after the poor reception of her episode in season 2 played into that decision as well.

me too, i'd prefer them as friends BUT that being said i've seen close friends play as enemies on shows and they need just as much chemistry to be honest to pull it off usually so i wouldn't necessarily say it's a waste of chemistry but i do think it makes sense for them not to hate either because the main reason el had any problem with max was because she thought she liked mike, once el found out she only had eyes for lucas and butts head with mike i doubt she'd be angry like she was when they first met, and obviously max seemed to like el before they even met so it makes more sense for them not to be enemies really

It's really really funny to me how at the beginning of this series, you were all like, "Lol, warning for headphone users, I'm bad with horror and will scream a lot!" and tbh you didn't scream that much at all until this episode and the fight between El and Billy 😂 (Not that it's a bad thing lmao, I just thought it was funny that that part is what made you yell the most so far)

yea, hopper seems weird, the green stuff in bottle that steve held also looked like something from tv show for kids, in season four theres problems too with goofy scenes and unrealistic moments but its the best after season 1 i guess
