Ayden and I had been to see the Bills last year but this was the first NFL game the rest of our squad. We all had a fantastic time exploring Buffalo and a little side trip to Niagara Falls on the way back.
We started with a trip to the Legion just outside Hamilton, ON. It was getting dark but the boys still played football in the parking lot.
Saturday was a trip to Vaughns memorabilia before making our way to Highmark stadium to gear up for the game. We also went to downtown Buffalo where we threw the football around a bit in a random grass field.
Sunday was the big game. The kids had a blast tailgating and getting really close to the field and the players. We even caught a pass (well almost) from Stefon Diggs. Ayden did make a nice throw back to him though.
We finished with visiting the Niagara Falls State Park in New York. Most Canadians don't visit the US side of the falls. After seeing both falls, we made a last stop on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls and did a few mazes and games.
The September weather was much different from the trip last November. It was perfect!
Overall, a fantastic getaway with lots of great memories. Can't wait to return to Buffalo!
