Some good episodes to check out: Make Love Not Warcraft, Butter's Very Own Episode, Jared Has Aides, Casa Bonita, Awesom-O, Krazy Kripples, Butter's Bottom Bitch, The Entity, The Losing Edge, Scott Tenorman Must Die, Cartman Sucks, Cartman Joins NAMBLA, Trapped in the Closet.

There's a documentary literally called "Six Days to Air" in reference to the rapid production schedule they stuck to. Because of how topical their show is, most of the show had to be Episodic instead of Serialized; it's not like you can plan ahead and predict what the news will be. They started experimenting with seasonal arcs later on, but this had issues during 2016 Presidential elections; they knew ahead of time what the basic news beats would be and who the winner would be, allowing them to reliably plan out episodes and seasonal arc ahead of time......then Trump won; after election night they needed to stay up to 4 AM in the morning to redo the upcoming episode, and had to rewrite the rest of the arc. The earlier seasons of South Park were mostly just one-off stories that you can watch in whatever order, but once you get to Season 19 it starts shifting into season-long story arcs where if you jump around you'll start to miss some stuff. Just something to take into consideration if you're wanting to plan out how to react to more.

You would LOVE the Towelie-centric episodes ! I would recommend those 3: "Towelie" (Season 5, Episode 8) "A Million Little Fibers" (Season 10, Episode 5) "Crippled Summer" (Season 14, Episode 7)

Y'all can hop into any episode. The movie & Imaginationland are popular & classic. Since season 24 (2020) South park has been doing 2 specials and 6 episodes for the season, so there's not much to "catch up" on with that recent groove. These specials have been so good.

They have digital models and saved backgrounds. So they can composite and animate without cells. Since they write all the time and have a few voice actors, they can do an episode in 2-3 weeks.

Dude the animation style kept me from South Park when I was younger too (and my parents, weirdly, because they let me watch rated R movies but not South Park), but now bro it's my favourite show on TV.

If we're talking best South Park episodes, the top has to be "Scott Tenorman must die". That episode fully shows off Cartman's character.

Matt Stone and Trey Parker are complete geniuses when it comes to comedy and tie it so beautifully into social commentary. They simple just don’t give a flying eff what people think. Oh and they hate Hollywood, so they are constantly going after celebrities. Please more South Park. You guys should watch all the C-specials. They’re hilarious and so accurate to everything that was going on.

That insurance clerk reminds me of Colin Farrell's character from Horrible Bosses movie. Also Sugar isn't the sole cause of Obesity. The HFCS(High Fructose Corn Syrup) replacing natural sugars caused a lot of dietary issues as it's not being digested&stored properly by the body. As for Kenny, he gets reborn by his mom whenever he dies.

Seeing Kyle genuinely care to help Cartman even if its just out of spite for the healthcare system was surprisingly wholesome, since the two practically hate each other. Skinny Cartman is so cursed

Great reaction!! South Park is a topical show, most times lampooning current events as they're happening. I watched a few reactions to some episodes from the mid-2000's and many of the viewers weren't able to understand the satire, irony, and mockery of the time, but at the time made perfect sense.

And South Park is sooo good, they rip EVERYTHING and its the way it SHOULD be. The Panderverse special is an AMAZING episode you should check out.

I'm going to be 47 in August, and I remember watching the first season of South Park when I was 20 or 21, so '97 is about right. The frog is the mascot of Sugar Smacks if I remember correctly (checking, used to be called Sugar Smacks, then name changed to Honey Smacks, now just Smacks). Great show. Great reaction! Enjoyed!

It is very much a continuation and generally there’s a whole lot of continuity including all of Kenny’s deaths! The episodes; Scott Tenermon Must Die, Butter’s Bottom Bitch, The Losing Edge, the Death Camp of Tolerance are all exceptional episodes to start with if you do the whole random thing! Which I have to say I don’t recommend, but I get it… There are over 300 episodes, a movie, video games and a handful of specials!

Two of my favorites which are in the first season is the Christmas and Halloween episodes

you should start with some of the more recent episodes since they are the most relevant and you would have a better recollection what had happened. The recent specials aren't a bad place to start. You saw the Cred bottle on the end but the COVID special part 1 is favorite of mine because the final message that I wont spoil and you should watch

You guys have a loooot of South Park to watch... I'm jealous. There are far too many great episodes to try and pick a favorite, but the Special Olympics episode "Up the Down Steroid", and Awesom-o are amazing. Please do more SP!

Before you get too deep into South Park, you REALLY need to go to the beginning. Season 1. Once you get five or six seasons in, you can get away with skipping around a little, but you kinda have to get the backstory for a lot of characters or it won't hit the same way (like how the Towelie character confused you watching this).

The Succubus episode from season 3 is probably my favorite; the one when Chef's dad tells the loch ness monster stories about always wanting tree fitty.
