Vilde's clip in this finale was devastating. There were so many hints leading to it, but the scene itself was heart wrenching.

It always made my day bc it was so nice to see that the show holds up and had the same impact on you as it had on me when I first watched it many years ago.

Skam means the world to me. I watched it when I was 16/17 (the same age as the characters) and was going through a really hard time and this show and characters like noora, even, Sana and isak helped me SO MUCH with everything, I felt seen and that I wasn't alone. Coming everyday from school wanting to kms and seeing a new update, a new clip, a new picture on their instagram whatever, meant everything to me, I immediately felt better. I am extremely sad that it's so short, it deserved to have at least 10 seasons, I needed a vilde season, an even, Magnus, Jonas, eskild and Chris season, but tbh I'm just so glad it exists. It was so revolutionary to me to watch a show that dealt with teenagers in such a realistic way and treated us like real human beings with our own thoughts and ideas instead than just hollow or that we only think about partying and stuff and we don't actually know what we're doing or saying. I will never forget it, and even though a lot of the remakes are pretty good (I especially recommend you the German, Italian and s3 of the French one), nothing will ever come close to this. I'm so glad you enjoyed it!! Now I hope you can watch even's video for isak, their instagram accounts, their messages etc, it was so cool experiencing it in real life time!!

Oh wow this really brought back the pain of this show ending 😭 But watching people watch it for the first time, like we've all been watching you, really helps keep this show and all our love for it alive so thank you for great reactions! I really love how they gave some of the characters at least a little of their own time in this episode, and how they also tied back to things from previous seasons. The most obvious one being the show ending exactly like it started, with a monologue from Jonas. As I'm sure you know, a big part of this show was all the extra content they gave us outside of the episodes, like actual social media accounts, text message conversations etc, and at the end here they kind of reversed that and put actual comments from fans (and haters....) into the episode which I think was such a powerful way of showing how big part us fans were of this show ❤

This show ruined me in a most beautiful way and I might say it changed me. But also every time I start watching Young Royals or Heartstopper or any other tv show in the same kind of genre I always compare it to SKAM. Altho I absolutely love all those shows, nothing comes close to SKAM. Even knowing the concept of how this show was presented, how clips were dropped online and then by the end of the week combined into full episodes, with full behind the scenes social media exchanges between characters and screen shots of text messages. It was so immersive and felt so real. Ah, I just love SKAM universe.

As you said, SKAM is quite literally a life-changing show. Also, I've never seen a more perfect and fitting finale of a show and one that would make me cry as much, I cried for hours. Even just rewatching it now though you made me cry! This show will forever hold a special place in my heart. As far as the remakes go, some versions have different seasons that I would put above it, but overall, DRUCK is definitely my favourite.

All I can say is I’m grateful for SKAM. Genuinely changed my life ❤

Have a lot of tissues handy when you watch the bloopers. 😄 Also, I read somewhere that Eva and Jonas were not supposed to get back together at the end but the two actors asked for it, so Julie went for it.

Ahhhh I loved everything about this so Im not going to list everything. With Even's in particular, I love the sudtle reminders in it that Isak is the younger and typically more hot headed one that Even is able to help bring back down when in the past his fight or flight response was almost unyielding. I just love that they are able to help and care for each other in so many ways.

SKAM is a show I've seen reacted to dozens of times. Even after all those rewatches, the finale still gets to me just the same as when it first aired! I vividly remember watching it the Sunday after the episode dropped and being distraught for the rest of that evening (maybe even a few days after...). This show is definitely one that always sticks with you, and I never tire of seeing it again through someone else's eyes. It really does have the capacity to change your life and teach you lessons; there's a depth to it that I'm not sure many shows can replicate. Remember back in s3 Sana gave her 10% weed to Isak? YES Sana once again gave her 10% of her season to everyone & us in this last eps. Even though Skam suppose to have more season but the way they ended this season just too good. I cried watched all of this characters. Im miss skam so much

I discovered SKAM last year, and finishing it was hard for me too. Fortunately im over it and watching your reactions was a nice recap/comeback to the series. It's definetely a lifechanger, i learned a lot from this show. It should be played in high schools, a lot of teenagers could learn a lot from it.

So sad it's over i cried as much as you when it ended i was sobbing so much and i teared up again now😭 years later and i'm still not over this show, it is also one of the best shows i've watched in my life, if not the best, and i'll never forget it or get over it! It's so special, truly a gem of a show. And the way it impacted and touched people so much like this is just so amazing. It is really sad we didn't have more seasons especially for Vilde! 😭 Julie Andem is so incredible she really created this masterpiece herself she is a genius! I don't know if you noticed btw but Jonas and Eva kissed at the end! The show also ended the same way it started. Also I personally never watched any of the remakes i'm just too attached to og skam, but maybe i'll finally watch them now. Can't wait for your reaction to bloopers for all the seasons!

Isak and Evens bench scene brought me back to season 3 and it is my favourite scene in season 4 and one of my favourite scenes of them together my biggest regret is that Even didnt get a season. I miss Skam so much ...

Not many shows managed to give me the emotions Skam did. Everything was just so perfect and the concept of the show allowed scenes to take as long as they needed. That's something a lot of TV shows normally forget and then some scenes just seem rushed or not realistic. Skam felt like real life and all the topics were managed so well. I don't think there are many things that Skam could have done better. It's just perfect. As for remake recommendations I would highly recommend Druck (Skam Germany). It's the best as a whole and has very solid storytelling. Every season of the remake seasons is good and even some of the original seasons are exceptional. Season 5 especially. I have to say season 7 and 8 weren't that good, but it's still the most consistent remake. It also changed some of the OG storyline, so it still feels kind of fresh and the characters are a bit different which adds to that effect. To give you some general feeling of the other remakes as well, Skam Espana is the most different remake, which changed a lot. Not always for the better, but it really feels like watching a new show, which is Skam inspired sometimes. I personally really liked it, even through I know people have their problem with it. Skam France is probably the most popular remake, but that's mostly because of their isak and even, who look like they are models and have also a good third season. I personally don't like it as much as other people, but it's still good. The problem with that reamake is that they copied season 1 and 2 nearly word by word. Season 3 got to be a little bit more original, but the only bigger change they made really made me hate a character, who I loved in the OG. Season 4-6 were in my opinion awful and felt way to much like American TV with all the drama for dramas sake. Season 7 and 8 were personally my favourite seasons of Skam France. They really are top tier. I haven't seen season 9 and 10, so I can't say anything about them. Skam Italia is the most visually pleasing reamake, which also makes it lose some of the realness of Skam. Bit still not as much as Skam France. Italia was also very consistent with very good two seasons, a not so good third and a good forth season. I haven't seen the fifth, so I can't say anything about that. It also got renewed for a sixth season, which is in production. Wtfock is also a remake with a very good start and probably the best second season and a very good third season, but the forth and faith season are mong the worst in the reamke history. They did make a little special lockdown season between season 3 and 4, which was very good. They also changed some things and made the reamke their own. In the last two seasons unfortunately not to their advantage. Skam NL got cancelled after two seasons, but it had very good two seasons and with the storyline they built there, season 3 would probably have been the best out of all of them. It's such a shame we never got to see it. Because it's only two seasons and isaks season didn't get made, I assume it's not the reamke to watch right now, but I definitely recommend you to watch it sometime later. I can definitely tell you, you will cry at a certain point and everyone who has seen it knows exactly when that is. That moment alone is reason enough for every Skam Fan to watch this remake. And last it's Skam Austin. It's the only one in English and the only one Julie, the creater of Skam, was personally involved. Sadly it did not help the show. She had a very special way of making TV, which just did not work with the US industry and therefore too many people wanted to have a saving in it. Also the production was just to big for such a small show and therefore it felt very American. It's not bad, but also not good and got cancelled after just two seasons. So Druck would definitely be my pick for a remake, because it has the best structure, storyline, feeling and realness out of all of them. If you want to pick a different remake, I strongly recommend wtfock or Skam Espana. I know many people want you to watch Skam France, but just because they have a hot Evak couple doesn't make the show any better. Also most of those fans have only seen season 3 and also only want to see your reactions to season 3, so they don't actually know which quality the other seasons have. As well as that the actors are just too old to play teens. That's normal for Netflix shows, but Skam has that realness and actors in their mid twenties just don't give of that real teenager vibe. Sorry for my little rant here, but I'm a little bit sick of people praising Skam France just because of their isak season. Especially if you want to stick with a remake and watch it all. And of course I have to thank you for your reactions. You really got Skam and showed so much emotions, especially at the end there. I really saw myself in you when I watched that last episode. Thank you and hopefully I can watch more skam reactions from you here in the future. Yes that's a hint, that we would all appreciate it, if you edited the reamake reactions for RU-vid. But in the meantime I'm very excited for the bloopers:)

I cry every time I watch SKAM, and the last episode opens the floodgates every time. I watched SKAM as it aired and was a part of several facebook groups discussing the show, and even joined tumblr to write about it. Something about the emotional honesty of SKAM made it almost impossible for me to watch other shows and movies for half a year afterwards, and then metoo happened - there are so many older shows and movies I just can't stomach anymore. I'm a huge, HUGE fan of Young Royals because I have a massive justiceboner and love the 'ovecoming the monster' story archetype. But Young Royals is shorter and doesn't allow the same life lessons SKAM has. (Lisa Ambjörn and I think Rojda Sekersöz is a huge SKAM and Julie Andem fan btw, and YR has borrowed a lot from SKAM) The level of detail and all the references in SKAM is insane. Like, every message, even the names of the characters are references. It's just so good.

The moment that made me start crying was when Even and Isak were making plans for a vacation and I realized I'm not gonna see that. Then Chris offering Vilde support and I imagined a whole season where we see Vilde saving helping her mother to get better with the help of her friends.

the cool thing about some of the remakes is that they go on to show other characters stories that they didn't get to do in this! so we get to see what it may have looked like in this universe! Definitely recommend Skam France and DRUCK! Cannot wait to see your reaction to the bloopers and Even's bday vid to Isak!

I don’t know that I would say Eva doesn’t love herself because she’s hooking up with Penetrator Chris. She’s aware of who he is and she’s not expecting anything from him, so why not have fun? They are both young and attractive, and there’s obviously a physical attraction between the two of them, so why judge her for a decision she’s made where she has no expectations so she won’t be hurt. Sometimes casual sex is fun and I get tired of people, especially girls, being judge for it. As long as they are both consenting adults who understand what the relationship is and they are being safe, more power to them.

This reaction is honestly a whole mood, and I agree with who should've gotten a season and everything! I wish! I'm excited to see your reaction to all the extra stuff, I remember I was so excited when I saw it as everything went along so this has been a fun (and emotional) trip down memory lane for me☺

My fave remakes are WTFock (Skam Belgium) and Druck (Skam Germany). My least favorite is Skam France. I didn't like it at all, too cringey for me and it doesn't have this realistic, kinda raw vibe that Skam OG has. Also, can't wait to see you cry while watching the bloopers 😅❤️ they hit you right in the feels, especially season 4 bloopers.

Skam is so special to me because in my mind, Skam is where it all began. I known Even and Isak were only one season but it’s the first show where I’ve ever seen queer people depicted as just normal people. Every other show, even shows that are queer centric like Queer as Folk, make these characters that are almost caricatures of what people think gay people should be like. But Even and Isak feel real. And Skam is so much more than season 3. I see a lot of people recommending just season 3 to reactors but I always suggest the whole series because if all you’ve watched is season 3, you’re missing out on so much of what makes the show so great. Ricky, I wept like you the first time I watched the last episode. I’ve seen it now probably half a dozen times and I still cry. Skam is about as perfect as a show can get. I love that you enjoyed it so music and can’t wait to see whatever you choose to react to next.

I watched the finale about 5 months ago and I had to take a day off school. Yea, wish I was joking. Also, im sure people have mentioned but the remakes are really good aswell. Especially Druck (Skam Germany) and WtFock (Skam Belgium).

The Vilde parts of this finale were the ones that really got to me :') As far as remakes goes Skam France is the only one that was able to keep my attention all the way through and therefore the only one I personally am familiar enough with to recommend (I have enjoyed individual seasons from Druck and Wtfock but I didn't watch all seasons of either show so I don't feel like I'm able to speak on them as a whole). That said, it's impossible to bring up Skam France without mentioning that it's kind of a hit and miss based on which seasons you're watching, and also that opinions on which seasons are hits and misses is divided within the fandom so I generally would take them with grain of salt and go into each season with an open mind, regardless of what the comments say about them beforehand. I do feel like it's necessairy to warn anyone going into Skam France that S1 and S2 are extremely similar to the original (I don't think they had lot of artistic freedom and it shows) and therefore those can be a bit tedious to go through at times. However since Skam France at this point has 10 seasons you would still have 8 whole seasons to watch after that, 6 of them with all new stories not based on the original at all, and 5 of those with a whole new group of characters not based on the og characters. So there would be plenty of brand new content once you got through the first two seasons if you chose to watch Skam France. And while I will agree with everyone who says Skam France has an excellent S3 remake, that was not all the remake had to offer me, as I personally very much enjoyed the second half of the show focusing on a whole new set of characters.

SKAM was supposed to have 6 seasons, 2 for each school year, 1 season for each of the girls and 1 for Isak. SKAM's target group was 16 yo girls, a demographic NRK realised they didn't manage to reach so they hired Julie Andem to make something for them. She had already made a successful (aka reached the target group) series for younger girls for NRK. None of the side characters would have gotten a season, and more seasons than 6 would basically mean a reboot.

I love Skam and all the remakes are amazing. If you count all seasons then Druck which is the Germany version is my favorite. Though France and WtFOCK were so great too.

Crying with you..I remember feeling so empty when Skam ended. We all wanted more of our favourite characters and the question of why it had to end was heartbreaking...😮‍💨

That was a beautiful, heartfelt reaction! I cried (again) with you. SKAM is something else, isn’t it. And some of the remakes are just as beautiful to watch, albeit always slightly different. My favourites: SKAM France seasons 1-6 (with season 3 as my ABSOLUTE favourite of all time, for me personally Lucas and Elliott got even deeper into my heart than EVAK, which I didn’t imagine being possible); SKAM Belgium/Wtfock seasons 1-3 (s3 has a different, interesting “Isak” angle - don’t want spoil- and mindblowing chemistry!); SKAM Germany season 3 (different, but heartbreakingly beautiful).

Another show that truly gave me whiplash but also made me so emotionally connected to the characters is a Swedish show called Eagles. No other reactor has watched it that i've seen and I really think you'd enjoy it since you liked Skam so much. You can watch it by googling Eagles english subs and a tumblr link will take you to every episode and BTS access. I really hope you take Eagles into consideration for a future watch!!

This is also one of my favorite series of all time. So beautifully written and tackles hardships so realistically! I’ve watched all the other versions, nothing is better than the original but Skam France comes close.

Druck, the german remake, is my all time favorite

I'm kinda glad we didn't have a season focused on Vilde, because her story would hit too close to home for me and I just know I wouldn't stop crying. I've also had moments of financial struggle when I saw my mom barely getting out of bed for days and just seeing this glimpse into Vilde's life already makes me emotional.
