I'm actually surprised the movie has readable hieroglyphs that actually mean more or less what they are supposed to say in the script. That's actual dedication from the props department.

I love how she is breaking it down, but also not being a dick. She knows its a movie and not reality. So many experts break down fantasy movies as if they are real and its so frustrating. She is at least having fun with it.

This was the coolest RU-vid video ever. I seriously considered Egyptology as a career as soon as I found out it was one, as Ancient Egypt has been a fascination for me since I was 10. I thought I was pretty well versed, however, I learnt some new things today. Thank you!

The mummy was literally the movie that made me realize as a little girl that being smart is bad-ass!

I started watching this video’s intro and actually burst into tears.... When I was younger, my grandma passed away, and my grandpa decided to sell my mother’s childhood home and move into a retirement community. I was young when the sale went through, but my most vivid memory is that it was sold to a pair of Egyptologists, and the woman had a beautiful severe black haircut. I was excited that they planned to not alter the house much because it was protected by the historical society. And when I saw this intro, I suddenly saw the living room where I spent so many Christmases when I was young, and had so many amazing memories. I felt so much nostalgic joy and heartache seeing this house again, and seeing how little it’s changed. Thank you for giving me a little sneak peek into a home that meant so, so much to me throughout the first half of my life. It’s so good to see that the house is being so cared for

I LOVE it when you're in conversation with someone, and they're just like 'oh, let me grab this book, it's has more information', or 'I got a painting that got something to with this', or any thing in the house, that can be used as part of the conversation.
