You made a good point when you stated that Ester might have added the no children clause in the vampire equation in order to prevent the whole Dhalia situation. Never thought about this.

Here's the "reading between the lines" history I've gotten from watching these shows many times. The first thing Esther did after Dahlia took Freya was to go to the witch Ayanna (the black lady in the flashbacks who told Rebekah to leave Esther/Elena's necklace alone) to locate a place far away from Dahlia to take her family to - which was eventually Mystic Falls. Then she convinced Mikael that they had to move there to keep the rest of their children safe, and to bring Ayanna. Then she learned from Ayanna how to be a powerful witch so that she could protect her children. And finally, when Mikael told her to make a spell to protect their children from the werewolves after Henrik died, she included the "no offspring" part in it so that Dahlia couldn't ever have another one of the children... she just didn't bargain with the vampire spell revealing Klaus' paternity and that it would eventually lead to her death and the destruction of her family. I get why Esther is doing all this, but she's making the same mistakes by trying to force her will on her children and by trying to take another child away from another father.

Let's be honest. The Vampires are serial killers that have destroyed lives. Esther is tryna undo her mistake. That's why she has always wanted to destroy them. But she has a found a loophole to save her kids and still kill all vampires.

I think the Mikaelson siblings would have been more understanding if she had been upfront with them (but they wouldn't surrender Hope). A lot of their issues stem from their parents just doing things to them with no explanation, expecting them to just follow along like lemmings.

Yes, here is the truth at last! Ester and Finn are scared to death! But imagine the horror they would feel if they found out that Hope is actually alive!

I never understood how vampires can't procreate but according to Vicky Donavan they can pee. I mean they are technically dead so do they have basic bodily functions or not lol.😂 TV Logic is funny.

The originals seems like the victims cause its their show.But let's not forget Klaus and kol killed babies and millions of innocent people.

season 2 is when the show gets really good imo!
