fr hope is such a badass witch and one of the first born mikaelson witch but i hate how legacies made hope seem like a joke and downplayed her character like she is the first born mikaelson witch, her father is the first ever original hybrid, her mother is a crescent alpha, her family are the first ever original vampires, she’s the first to ever be born with vampire blood in her system and got to be all three, she’s the first of her kind, the hollow is her ancestor and legacies made her seem like she’s this basic witch and made her all about some boy when she’s so much more than that, hope deserved better than what the writers did to her

@@DarthKay093 right fr like both freya and hope are so powerful like why did they make them seem so weak, especially hope knowing she’s supposed to be the most powerful creature out of the whole tvdu i hate how they downplay the mikaelson’s

But you can tell throughout both TVD and this show that Finn became a serious mama's boy after Dahlia took Freya. They never showed Mikel abusing him like he abused the others either, so of course there was a huge separation between him and the others because he didn't even try to stand up for them like Elijah did. Finn enjoyed his life as the "golden child" of his parents, so he doesn't deserve any sympathy now when he's cursed Kol to die and he wants to kill Hope. He listened to mama's tales of Dahlia the boogeyman for too long to even consider working WITH his family in order to stop her.

@@Kayjee17 Why would he work with them after what they did to him? Those 2 issues are separate; none of what you said justifies what they did to him and it also doesn't negate the bad feelings he has towards his siblings... Are you blaming baby Finn for seeking his mother's affection after "loosing" a sister? And yes, Finn probably wasn't as willing to stand up to Mikael, but that could've been fear, hope that Mikael would "come back to being a loving father", or any other reason that actually says more about Mikael as a father than it does Finn... Are you trying to imply that Finn being a "mama's boy" growing up and him doing less than the other siblings to stop an abusive father is a good reason for Klaus (and the others) to lock him in a box for 1k years? Does that excuse or explains their actions? No it doesn't and it is no where near a good enough reason or even a reasoning that just applies to Finn; i mean, Kol never did much against Mikael either, Elijah and Rebekah might have been more vocal against Mikael but they never really did anything... Why? Because they were all scared of Mikael and had trauma about him, with good reason Once again, none of what you said justifies them locking him for eternity and joking about it like Klaus does... So yeah, he came out super angry and would take any excuse, any path, that means hurting them; can you blame him? Yeah he curse Kol to die; ask your self, is a quick death better or worse than what they did to him? Torture for several centuries? Finn would probably tell you that he would've preferred to be killed and what he is doing to Kol in retaliation for taking part on his suffering is a "mercy", he isn't prolonging Kol's suffering... And when it comes to killing Hope is about many things: Hurting Klaus, preventing Dahlia from getting her, etc... Once again, how worried and scared Finn is of her says more about Esther and what she told Finn than it does about Finn himself... And if you want to really dicect the information, then why isn't he letting Dahlia come and kill all the siblings? Would be easier for his goal, she comes to take Hope, they get in her way, they die because how powerful she is; so why isn't her letting that happen? Well, one reason is that he is scared than she would come for him, simply because he is a Mikaelson even tho he hated the lot of them... So presumably you can excuse other characters' self serving reasonings and what they do to save their own neck, like Klaus has done many times, but you can't with Finn? Why? Because Hope is his niece? Well, he clearly doesn't see it that way and doesn't care, because he hates them... Because he is trying to kill a baby? Well, I have news for you, if you have watched the whole show (specially season 3 finale) you know damn well the length and level of shit that Klaus has done, and it certainly involves killing babies and children, directly and mostly indirectly with compulsion... Sooooo, who's worse? He isn't a saint for sure, and from the POV of the show and our "main characters" he is the antagonist, but when it comes to reasons and actual facts, he isn't the one that comes out looking worse

Klaus only kept his siblings daggered like he did until Mikael was killed. Finn was a threat to the entire family. He would have ratted out the rest of them and them all killed. So yeah he was kept in a box. Right after Mikael was killed they were all free to live there own lives.... Finn and Kol didn't last very long without Klaus protection did they....

@@zackstoner4523 Except for the fact that both Finn and Kol were killed by Klaus's enemies. (And they were not freed by Klaus after Mikael's death, it was Daemon? who freed them.)

Finn is not saint but he is not evil as much as klaus ..he had his reasons
