No, Phoebe didn't leave the show. This is purely the writers' choice (I could go into detail if you want, but just know they did her really dirty)... When it was coming out and I saw that episode it broke me. And ever since any time I watch this episode I tear up.

Phoebe (Fee-bee) Tonkin, and a bunch of other cast mates had said in interviews that they all thought that the season 4 finale was the "series finale" and that they weren't coming back for a season 5.. so she was okay with her death in season 5, for the storyline

Freya is not using the same spell Esther used to bind Klaus but she is using the same kinda spell. Also Esther was a spellcraft genius , even though Freya has more pure force . Doppelgänger blood is super powerful like celestial event level as a catalyst but tribid blood is pretty potent also like the rest of the originals. Hope is the only born original.

I hate that they killed Hayley

I never liked Elijah but now I clearly hate him, first he breaks Caroline's neck when Caroline had come to save Hayley and then he plants wood in Klaus' back. I'm sorry but for me Hayley is clearly dead because of Elijah, I will never forgive her 😭😡🤬

they ruined haylijah and then killed off hailey. it was ridiculous. there is a lot of weirdness regarding this situation and from what i remember not a lot of clear cut answers. some people say pheobe was fine with leaving, others say she wasnt... either way it was a stupid writing choice.

I hate this sooooo much, Hayley deserved so much better than this shit death. A part of me will never forgive Elijah for this, but different from a big part of the fandom I do understand Elijah, he always puts family first, he always did but memoryless Elijah family is Anthoniete and he will do unspeakable things for family like always. But I still hate him for it
