I don’t know if anyone else realized this, but Lara jean never noticed Peter never gave the scrunchies back because he said he liked her hair down so she started wearing her hair down. BOOM just realized that today.
That makes this movie better because for the longest time I thought that plot point made no sense. Like how would she not notice her favorite scrunchie missing for months. This makes sense.
yeahh the first movie was directed by a woman and the other ones my men, you can see how weird they made peter act and stuff. It ruined a great serie of books.
In the 2nd book n stuff it kind of explains that they were friends for a really long time, including gen and John & christy, so they probably just hung out alot
The fact that he called him a cringe Jacob Lautner too Lmaoo he’s a good actor tho, he was just a little out of character during the parking lot scene bc he wanted to laugh so badly at her facial expressions but they kept it in since it helped show his character’s clear amusement from her fear of driving
"I take the rule of fight club so seriously that not only I don't talk about fight club, but I don't watch it." He says while talking about fight club.
Dylan: “Wait woah, I’m falling for this guy.” The fans: “Aren’t we all?” It’s not what you’ve done but what you do with what you’ve done, for others. -Noah Centineo
Katie Hayes if you watch enough movie you’ll find they often fall into stereotypical categories. Especially movies like this. Then it’s easy to predict
I like how he’s like *I really want her to end up with the guy she’s pretending to be boyfriend snd girlfriend’s with because that would go against what you expect* 99% of stories/fanfiction with someone pretending to be in a relationship: *Ends up together*
also he doesn't get why the pretend boyfriend change from not into her to in love with her so fast... At that moment I know he's still too young for fantasy friction 😎
*smiles widely with heart eyes* "awnnn they're so cuuuute I can't they're too cute together, I need to take a break" "the host is taking a short break on account of cuteness overload" Same Dylan, SAME
What I liked about Lara Jean's note at the end with her simple explanation of liking him and "not in a fake way" was that her feelings were not overdramatized like she has been doing her whole life. She accepted the reality of her situation that she liked him for him and not what she made up in her head or read in her books. She liked him in a real way.
That's a really good point! I always interpreted it as she wrote a more "grandiose" (great word) letter, but decided in the moment that instead of something scripted and rehearsed -- sculpted to fit her fantasy -- it was time to deliver raw and unflinching communication.I actually really enjoyed that part of her character arc.
I didn't really care that much that they recasted, I love Jordan Fisher, but I kinda wanted him to show up at her door like it showed in the first movie.
Dylan: (going on and on about how Lara Jean and Peter Kavinsky are the only couple worth shipping) Me, knowing he's on team John Ambrose in the second movie: 👁👄👁
peter: look, it’s never gonna happen ok? lara jean: yeah alright peter: no, like, seriously lara jean: it’s fine peter:.. lara jean:umm.. peter: OK DONT WORRY LARA JEAN IM IN LOVE WITH YOU TOO lara jean: but i’m not- peter: IM ALL YOURSS
the books were easily so much better. the way peter and lara met (a car crash) was so cute. also instead of kissing him on the track field, she jumped him in the halls, while he was talking to his friends. and the letter was funnier, for example it was more insulting. it was more like, “you were so popular, all the other girls liked you, and i didn’t. but suddenly you kissed me. and then i did.” also the kiss was different too, “you always take the last slice of pizza. you’re conceited.” peter was more insulted then flattered.
Found this guy a few hours ago, now am binge watching. What I’ve learnt so far, he’s really into to real estate, I thought it was just in tangled, but this just solidified it.
@@annaxurbina I didn't say that sierra was a good movie - just better than this crap. The story was shit but the cinematography and the soundtrack was very good
Coming back to this video in the year 2022 for some laughs and Dylan starting off with a joke about his book being released in about a year, a year and a half knowing full well there is still no book is priceless 😂
15:45 this movie was so good and I loved the main couple, but I was feeling sorry for Josh the whole time 😭 I mean he looks so depressed every time he's on screen
23:07 I think the director took the right step in showing that she is now comfortable to talk about how she feels 'out loud' to the world. She had bottled up her emotions for so many years due to her fears which stemmed from her mother's death.
I found it weird that it was her favorite scrunchie, and was kept stressing that he couldn't lost it cause it was her favorite, but then she doesn't ask for it back or notice that it's missing after the party?
in the span of 4 years, over 1 thousand people liked this comment yet not one of them replied. In that case, it is funny how lara jean keeps writing risky things down
I feel like netflix didn't even try to promote it whereas I couldn't escape their notifications about the kissing booth and that was a pretty awful movie
@@blkbarbie2671 I think they meant that Dylan said that when he reacted to the second movie like he was lowkey (high key?) shipping Lara Jean with John ambros lol
HOLD UP. I just realized that John's race changed from this movie to the next movie. 1. How did I not notice that until now? 2. Someone goofed on casting lmao
dylan loving noah centineo is everything to me cuz at the time we barely new who he was but now he plays literally the same character in every romance miviw hes in.
I've always loved the books and when the movies came out I was so excited. I still love them and watching this made me so happy to see someone else enjoy it just as much.
I think they had to change actors because something happened where the other dude couldn't be filming at that time. At least that's what I heard, but I'm not sure.
