Clearly Tommy isn’t actually gay. Since the lie detector runs on nervousness, and he said it as a joke without getting actually stressed, it got directed as truth.

It’s all about the amount of nervousness and anxiety the question brings to the person, and tommy gets nervous very easily lmao 😂 but it makes for a fun video either way
(before you read this, note that this may not be 100% true and is based on my experience and read the end as well) there's a significant difference that can be seen when someone is just nervous and when someone lies, because an experienced polygraph expert can distinguish between false positives. being afraid or nervous about the question will most likely generate a smaller and more prolonged increase in body "stats"(on the monitor), while a lie will generate a big but instant spike that will end about 2-10seconds after the he said the lie. About this video: I have no doubt that some of tommyinnit's were false positives, because he was moving his legs a lot, he tried readjusting his wires by himself and there was also some pressure because of the camera. i think the polygrapher should've stopped tommyinnit from moving, but since he didn't even try this makes the whole video a big mystery. tl;dr This video is inaccurate because I'm 100% sure the body readings weren't accurate, but if you wanna learn how polygraphs work (if all rules are enforced) look above this message.
When he was asked about his sexuality I think he was calm because he was certain he was straight. I think he’s straight and he just happened to say the wrong thing. I do that all the time. It was really funny though.
Part of the reason Lamuliz's comment was so high was because they're an incredible animator and have given me literal chills from some of the dsmp lore animatics. Their animation style can can terrifyingly intense in such a good way.
I pretty sure the reason it came out as a lie when Ranboo asked Tommy does Tommy think he is ugly, is because maybe Tommy thought Ranboo might ask that question but was just shocked that he actually did. Also love the content Nate
For the question about if he found Ranboo ugly I’ll just say I remember a stream where Tommy was on the dsmp talking to chat and he was talking about how him and Ranboo have gotten closer as friends since they’ve hung out more in person and he said how Ranboo has a really good face when he didn’t have to add that or tell chat that if he didn’t think it was true (idk if I worded this properly but yeah hopefully you get what I’m trying to say)

Something else to consider is that lie detectors also check for spikes in blood pressure. Tommy has said on stream that he has high blood pressure I think. So, some of the lies could be from his blood pressure. We even saw his blood pressure act up in one of his vlogs. During the military vlog, there's a scene near the beginning where is Tommy is sitting on the floor breathing heavily and when Jack asks him if he's ok, Tommy says that his blood pressure is going. So, it could be that the anxiousness is making a blood pressure act up a bit.

Hey Nate! big fan. i suggest on watching PURPLED for the first time! He doesnt have much the story but he does do alot of good Minecraft content! So theres this server called hypixel and i think you know abt it has a game called bedwars. basically each team has to protect their bed at all costs. if they get killed or fall into the void they can respawn if their bed is intact. but if it isnt you die for good. the last team that survives wins! I suggest watching one of his newer videos or a rlly epic video called "The Best Clutch" lower your volume cuz its going to be a ROLLERCOASTER. dw you can also watch his DSMP videos because he's also there. really late comment but ive noticed that when he lies he either defends himself or admits to telling that lie like when he said he apologized on stream and didn't mean it he said "most of them" confirming it while when asked about if he finds Ranboo ugly he tries to say he thinks Ranboo is hot
fun fact: ranboo said in his ranmail that they all came up with questions and randomly chose ones to ask. also apparently the lie detector guy's kid has a stan account on twitter and was watching so they kind of got to see how twitter would react while filming
