Good video, I got the same. I only use Bergeon tools. My lastest Bergeons is the 7825 Sping bar tweezers. For what it's Is! Its f**kin expensive. I paid around £125 for it. But the grands I spend on these timepieces. Iam not taking any chances Lol👍🏾
@@ClickSpringReview Perfect for Rolex bracelets. I wouldn't use anything else now tbh. Clip them ethier side and push the head of the Rolex away from the bracelet..Bobs your uncle, and no scratches Lol
Yes I'm on a 3 year Course in Clock and Watchmaking ,the final year you have to make your own clock or watch for scratch ,gears and all . The University is in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter and has be there for well over a 100 years Sir
@@ClickSpringReview That’s sick - I’d love to watch a video where you show the school and talk about the course (maybe a little like the Sinn factory video)
@@birkrum4630 Ive done 2 videos so far about it Birk but the 3rd is overdue :) here is one of them ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cxs02LxGxUI.html
I'm not fan of them ones at all have you ever seen a professional watch maker use them I haven't , The general idea is the the screwdriver blade will wedge lightly into the slot and not move, ride up, or slide sideways. The tip should not extend to the bottom of the slot in the screw head
I'm trying to decide between 3 models, the Bergeon 7778, 6899-S09 and the 30081-S09 do you think the 7778 set is enough or are the other 2 sets worth the extra $$ for the rotating base, 3 extra screwdrivers and elastomer coating?
Hi one of the other guys has the Bergeon set with the elastomer and rotating base , and honestly its not nice the base doesn't sing like the Horotec and the elastomer makes it feel cheap , The 7778 set with the stand is great and offers good value , Are you planing to fully strip down a movement or just case backs and bracelets ?
@@ClickSpringReview thank you so much for your reply, I will mostly resize bracelets and open case backs from Cartier, GP and other Quartz watches from my collection. I won't mess with mechanical movements.
@@ClickSpringReview thank you so much for your suggestion Barry, you saved me approx 30 pounds. ☺️ I really thank you for being so attentive and helpful. Have a great Xmas. 🎄
