I love how the first episode just drops you into the story; very similar to the original comic. I hope they keep us confused and guessing like True Detectives or other mystery shows like that.

you missed an Easter egg in the dinner scene when Jude goes to the kitchen you can hear the song "unforgettable" which is the same song that plays at the beginning of the movie Watchmen when Adrian kills the comedian in his apartment.

Technically, there was no group called "Watchmen" in the graphic novels. There were the Minutemen and the failed initiative called The Crimebusters proposed by Captain Metropolis.

During the interrogation scene, Looking Glass’ mask reflects the images to make it look like Rorschach's mask. Also think of the eggs as a wink the very final scene :)

Rogue theory incoming: Veidt ... is actually dead. What if it's Dr. Manhattan on Mars "simulating" the Veidt scenes? Because something is clearly off. Dr. Manhattan creating/ disassembling that castle/ mansion on Mars, Veidts weird servants etc. What if Dr. Manhattan is trying to get into Veidt's mind to find a solution to the problems on earth? Just a wild theory of mine.

It's to bad people often ignore or ridicule Zack Snyder's version of watchmen. It's a close to a perfect adaptation of a comic book.. On the same level as avengers infinity war and endgame.

Two things, the 7 Kalavary misquoted Rorschach's opening speech from the graphic novel can be a sign of them not being the true modern version, just appropriators. Second, Looking Glass has many references as being the true modern version of Rorschach... the one I remember clearly is how Looking Glass eats from the bean can the same way Rorschach does when he breaks into Nite Owl's place. Also, Tim Nelson is a dead ringing for Walter Kovacs.

Couple of things the eggs forming the smiley face had blood drop in the same place which was a nice touch and something has to do with horses saw some bookends and a statue on the bookshelf after the American hero story played, then the horseshoe cake thing.
