*The two units I purchased work great. **Fastly.Cool** and air purifier perfectly this machine The filters are definitely collecting dust! I contacted Levoit directly for a minor issue, and received exceptional customer service!*
I bought one but it is circular and does not look like this but works the same way ... I advise you to put water over the minimium 1.5cm up so that the engine rotates faster and absorb more air and see more drops,Ions and without waves 🙂 .. Another tip is not to flip the lid as the water will leak into the engine and rust it.
Mine works perfectly. It cleans well similar model just a bit of those waves which if u place it on a tv stand the whole time the tv stand is dancing but it works well. If u are coughing it stops all coughs
It was removed from Home Depot and on Amazon it says cannot be shipped to California, I suspect it is emitting ozone which is not allowed in California.
@@DreamingConcepts ozone is highly reactive with carbon which includes hydrocarbons, and cells are hydrocarbons so ozone causes cellular damage, therefore ozone levels should be kept as low as possible, especially for people with chronic respiratory illnesses.
i'm not sure because I returned it because it wasn't filtering air as fast as I'd like. judging by the speed of my little one, I'd guess about 2-3 weeks. that's about how long my little one lasts.
I have COPD and I have been using a humidifier with considerable success, but I have found my respiratory health is better if I use distilled water and change the water every 8 hours.
A device such as this where the air we breathe is moved through an aerosol of water vapor does far more than remove particulate matter from the air we breathe. It also removes invisible gasses that are corrosive and toxic and are a major cause of respiratory illness. These toxic and corrosive gasses are NOX and SOX. Understanding this we have to exchange, replace, the water in this and other like device every 8-12 hours for best results for the treatment of acute and chronic respiratory illnesses.
the water will get dirty as it absorbs more contaminants. change it whenever you want. eventually the water will look like grey watery mud. it will still purify the air even then.
I bought two in Asia took it to the states and bought an adapter for 120 volts ( what we use in US). Wasted my money. It spins super slow and stops. Does not work. Sad. 😪
Since Omicron is rendered highly aerosolized, we can use the Water-based air purifier which sucks air into a soap solution and the virus will be neutralized or killed within 20 seconds inside the soap solution, Just like our handing washing campaign song that clearly states that washing hands with soap will kills the virus within 20 seconds, imagine any viruses swirling inside this soap solution for more than an hour!!!!. So this method is much cheaper and tested to work 100 percent compare to the very very expensive HEPA filter that still let viruses stick to their membrane and disposal only spread the viruses again. I hope all hospitals and government offices can implement this using an industrial model not just to save money but something that actually works!!!!
it is noisy. one of the noisiest machines i've had. at least to me, annoyingly noisey. and don't expect a reply. some people demand i reply, some beg for it, others simply request politely. 95% of the time i reply only if i want to, regardless of how they ask.
@@DavidLinn It starts to shake because water shifting, nothing to break that compounding wave. It gets worse, if wave's length gets close to circuference length, so it's just one peak. Water beads up on dirty surfaces, water sheets off clean ones. You can see small droplets sticking to the surface, means they had something to bond to. Great video though, interesting product.
