I would say year 1.5! I’m at a year and 3 months and parts of my locs are completely locd but some are still budding. So ig whenever your locs stop budding lol

Your locs are gorgeous! How long does the twist hold with oil & water? I make flaxseed gel or aloe to do my retwist. It doesn’t stay long but I’m finally ok with that. (Embracing the frizz) lol

So with locs you only retwist the root part you don’t ever touch the bottom of the actual locs for a twist as well ? Question: I noticed you interlocked the last retwist and then went back to palm rolling. Was there something you didnt like about interlocking? I've done it once and was wondering if Im going to do it again as well.

Heres a question you can address in your next video... - Did the Interlocked section become much smallar than your loc and if so how was it for you getting the original size back? I only have 39 locs and my squares vary in size so I'm concerned now if interlocking 1 time is going to ruin the fullness of the look of the locs in the future. I feel like i probably messed up and can't bounce back 😔....Or can I? Guess I'll have to wait a couple of months to find out.

Not for this retwist specifically because it was an oil and water retwist. Keeping it in just adds to the moisture💕

How long does this take to dry-- do you sit under the dryer? We're did you get the oil products?

I don’t sit under a dryer. I let my locs air dry. It could take about a day for my hair to dry if I styled it. And if I leave it out it will dry by mid day. And most often Walmart

Both two strand and free form 💕 two strand in the front, free form in the back, only because my hair was really soft in the back and my twists didn’t hold
