Thank you! :) Crystalac products are very easy to use once you figure out dry times & application techniques. I'd still rather apply with my bare fingers, so will need to practice more with this Grand Finale.
It's an old "Stampin Up" tool that I used for blowing the ink out of Stampin Up felt tip pens...kinda like an airbrush tool. I just stuck the end of the paintbrush into that tool to help me balance it on my table & hold it steady.
I didn't notice a difference with my older tumblers, other than there was zero pooling. I'd like to experiment with a white glittered tumbler, because my BT definitely yellowed the whites of a couple I made.
From my experience, whenever I seal with polycrylic, gassing off hasn't been necessary. In the past, even if my spray-painted item sat & dried for a couple hours, and I didn't seal with polycrylic, my Brite Tone would repel in spots, or I'd have sections of orange peel. I now seal every single time.
Ahhh thank you for this, I hadn’t heard anyone say this I will be trying it. That was the deterrent for me for GF as opposed to Hyperion, having to wait 48/hrs to gas off but now I’ll be sticking to GF. Glad I found your channel. Beautiful cup too!
