In this macro photography tutorial, we are learning water drop photography using the Pluto Trigger and the Pluto Valve as well as our brand new Flash Lighting Arms. This setup is quite extensive, so stick with us whilst we explain!

Colliding two water drops in mid-air while timing the camera and flash to trigger at the exact moment they hit, is no easy task. We have the answer though. With a water drop kit like the Pluto Trigger and the corresponding valve, timing the water drops is made much simpler. We ended up using milk for most of the shots, but this is just as easy with water, if a little less consistent.
