@Pd4aNv1eK Socks that are double layered with a golf ball in the end, they tied a knot above the ball to keep it from coming out. Same thing a lot of ravers use to train without having to waste glow sticks.
Even still, only the best of the best have the abilities to make it into something like this. I'd say World Class DCI (Drum Corps International) experience is the kind of stuff they look for when considering new participants... and you have to be not only incredibly talented, but also work extremely hard to get into that kind of program.
The rain itself is made with precision nozzles that can distribute water wherever it is wanted. And if you look closely you can see that the floor is covered in a large sheet of rubber. The edges of this sheet is folded upwards so the water can't escape. Instead a pump removes it and maybe even recycle it through the nozzles.
when its done live, there are floor mics that pic up more sound and pumpmed through the speakers in the venue. Here the producers have a chance to remix the sound to a proper volume...
like being in band through high school, and college. and you would have to have some experience in percussion, even if its not your main instrument. like studying percussion in college. i remember seeing something about how some of the members made it into the group. but i dont remember too much, and i dont remember where i saw it
first....I dont think blue man group did this waaay before stomp...considering blue man group started out as a commercial...and I got introuduced to these guys in the early 90s....and that was from their video...so they had been around before that....I could be wrong...but yeah...anyways...THIS WAS MY FAV PART OF THE VID!!!
"considering blue man group started out as a commercial." Untrue. You may not have been aware of them, but BMG was founded in '87 and was winning awards and doing broadway shows well before they got the Intel gig.
