Use shellac instead of wax,leave to dry,and wipe with water in the same way.it works better than wax.either way vent your kiln really well during bisque firing as wax or shellac burning off create very bad fumes.
I'm wondering if the form needs to be bone dry for this to work or can it be done while the clay is at the firm leatherhard stage, when it is not so fragile. Also, it would be wonderful if she would show the finished result, but since this is a video short/excerpt, perhaps she does in her full tutorial.
Why post a short video about a technique just that you can buy the whole video when the teacher can even do the technique? At least present the finished piece.
