Candle Jet Water Feature Construction
Part 5/6 - Stainless Frame
The frame assembly not only supports the top granite profiles, but also acts a water delivery manifold, while providing threaded connections for LED brackets, nozzles and the inlet pipe.
The support frame is manufactured from AISI 304 / EN 1.4301 stainless steel, which offers exceptional strength & durability, giving it a long life cycle, whilst being a 100% recyclable material.
All profiles are CNC laser cut to guarantee precision engineered components and to eliminate any guesswork from the fabrication process.
The components are bolted together on-site to form the frame assembly, which is then carefully lowered into the reservoir.
Levelling of the frame is carried out to +/- 0.5mm tolerance, by using the adjustable feet.
Water can be a cruel mistress, and it will quickly highlight any discrepancies in the levels when the feature is turned on. This will be evident in dry patches on the top granite, and/or uneven runoff of water.
To ensure the feature automatically replaces water lost to evaporation, a float valve is attached to the frame via bolted fixing plate. This is a simple 1/2" float valve, attached to the polypipe with a MDPE female adaptor. Not forgetting the inserts & PTFE, of course.
Stainless frame fabrication accordance with BS EN 1011-3.
Float valve to comply with BS1212 part 1.
