Just saw them in Dallas with a live drummer and it was great. I think they have the potential really “level up” on their next album…if they have the ambition that would require.
I really like their album. But the singer giving almost no enthusiasm to the live performances is a choice and it detracts. Act like you like your own songs more than karaoke.
the monotonal singing that rachel is doing is exactly how it is on the album. If they added any enthusiasm, it would sound completely different and not in a good way. I think the lack of emotion (vocally speaking) is what makes it so unique, I love it.
