When I had Chickens and Ducks they all swam in the pond. I had a chicken that regularly swam in the pond!!! So excited for the pond!!! Now it really is Paradise !!😊😊❤️💕💕💕
I'm so glad to hear that Heidi is doing well now and the pond looks fantastic I'm sure George and the other three ducks will have a great time swimming in it 😄

Dear Bob , I'm always impressed at how quickly you get on with everything, everything is done in no time 💪. At some point the pond will look beautiful , maybe water lilies 🪷 will bloom in it next year 😊. George, the duck gang and Leila already love the pond . Paradise Creek turned out beautifully and is just fun to look at. I send greetings to all of you , also to the hard - working helpers Scotty, Greg, Ron , I hope I haven't forgotten anyone. Thank you, Dear Lord for getting Heidi thru her surgery. ❤❤ Bob ty for the explanation on pool care. I never knew any of this. People around here have koi ponds, but i never knew the care of them. I am so sorry i couldn't donate to the fund. 😟 Being on SSI is no fun. But i can't wait to see the finished project! LOVE YOU BOB, GEORGE, EVA, AND ALLLLLLLLL THE OTHER BABIES IN GEORGE LAND!
Good to have friends to help you. Aww poor goofy duck couldn't get out. Good thing Daddy was there to help him out. I sent Scotty and Sammie some $ to help with Heidi's surgery. Glad it went well. I wish the city would put that pond cleaner in the pond near me. It is awful looking and yucky green. I didn't know chickens and turkeys could swim. You're going to have lots of happy birds swimming and taking baths.

Bob, it's looking great, and thanks to all who contributed. Thankful Heidi's surgery went well. I don't want to tell you how to do your business, but I hope you planned contingencies for anything that can't swim well that falls in. Platforms or ways out? I'd hate to see any precious unnecessary loss of life.

add a walk in beach will save a lot of life..that banks to steep for many ..and makes great access..good luck many pond building info on line it would be easy now later?
sooo much work but will be worth it when it is done and you can restock it with fish! PLEASE put a float in it in case "something" gets into it and can't get out...the sides look a bit slippery....
You are right Bob. Turkeys can swim. I just saw a video with a turkey swimming. Just as good as goofy duck. I never knew that. I would still make sure that anything that goes in there can get out easy. Just in case. Lookin good. I have a big koi pond myself with a waterfall.

Building a pond takes a lot of work to make it perfect. I'm glad you had help from friends, who made it easier to place these very heavy materials. The whole crew will love being able to bathe in the pond, especially on very hot days. It will look very beautiful with the rocks and plants that you place there. But the project is already underway, which is wonderful.

Beautiful! Retired construction contractor excavator Co. here... We use to dig ponds for a living My thought less is better for filling in pond Everything works it’s way to the bottom fills It in gradually u loose depth... so Try n use not so much gravel. Hopefully the Gravel doesn’t have sharp edges. We used Pea gravel. Pea gravel is rounded not sharp But Smooth...Sand for edges & beach area. But like u said you already had a pond 👍 Just my ramblings. George’s family is so excited 💖🥳 love

Everything is beautiful in Paradise. The "family" is going to enjoy the pond, but if you put fish in it, don't you think the bears will come not only to drink water, but they would also eat the fish? Well it is just a comment....😮 just worry about your safety.
