Water rationing starts in Lusaka

The Lusaka Water Supply and Sanitation Company has with immediate effect started water rationing due to the impact of load shedding and drought.
Company Managing Director JILLY CHIYOMBWE says the utility has also reduced water supply from 18 to 10 hours per day.
Mr. CHIYOMBWE says a water rationing schedule has been drawn up for various areas and will be circulated soon.
Addressing the Media in Lusaka today, Mr. CHIYOMBWE said ZESCO has been engaged to exempt some of the water installations from load shedding.
