Lime softening is that to raise pH? At the plant I work @ i used to ise this powdered Lime cant recall the name but it gave my water a copper like tint buy we've switched to using caustic and I love it! Raises the pH levels very efficiently, once I'm around 7.2-7.9 I can add my polymer and watch that sweet pop

why is water negatively charged? isnt water electrically neutral?

Yes it’s electrically neutral. What he means is that waste/used water typically has dissolved substances/ions/particles that have a negative charge (like chloride ions).

Raw water is negative charged because of the amount of clay particle in water . Clay particles are negatively charged
