Thank you for sharing about placing the foam underneath to get a better stamp impression. I had not heard that one before for this type of project.

Yes I use Versafine most of the time too! Though I own all kinds of stamp pads they are my favorites. And I try not to cross the type of ink to not contaminate the ink pad. Also I love the craft border on this page and must try that look too!
Beautiful! For some reason I have only used watercolor over gesso when layering Mixed-Media backgrounds. I've never thought to use it in this way as the main thing. Thanks for the inspiration. Enjoy your holiday away!
Very nice. I've just started watercolour painting and I am finding that you can see my brush strokes. I don't know whether it's the cheaper paints I'm using. Or the brushes or maybe I'm not adding enough water. I've ordered new brushes to try and I'll try adding more water. I'm going to just keep trying as I'm enjoying it so much.
