Thank you for sharing! It was great to see your workshop :) your lay out is very organized. I have a couple of questions: are you going to do any national parks on the Eastern side of the US? And, did you look at any of your beautiful prints and think, “ I don’t really like [blank] on this print and wish I could do over”? Like when do you know when to be satisfied and stop adding details? Thank you for sharing your personal space with us! :)

Thank you!! Yes, I do plan on painting more of the Eastern US National Parks. So far I have painted Badlands, Acadia, and Great Smoky Mountains (those paintings have been licensed & made into JIGGY Puzzles and the originals will be at my upcoming art gallery! 😅), and my long term goal is to finish painting the remaining U.S. National Parks I haven’t yet painted by the end of this year. ☺️ Do you have a favorite National Park from the eastern side of the U.S.?

For your second question, I have definitely had a few moments where I overworked a painting or felt something was missing and needed a second opinion. Sometimes I’ll give it a day to think on it and if I need another opinion, I ask my Mom (she was an art major) and has a good eye for detail. A few times I’ve simply needed to start a painting over if there was no going back 😆 It’s always worth the extra time it takes to get it right.

Hi Kendra… thanks for sharing your beautiful, well-organized studio. I appreciate knowing what companies you use for packaging and shipping. I have a question about your prints though. Do you send out your work to be printed. Or do you make the prints at home via a home printer? 😍

Thank you so much! I’m glad that was helpful. I first scan my paintings at home (I use an Epson V600 scanner), then I size the paintings in photoshop to 8 by 10 inches and 600dpi so the resolution is very clear, and then I save all my print files and take them to FedEx for printing. I print on their thickest matte cardstock paper and they always do a great job.
