Wow! What a transformation the white sheet of paper took. A sculptor who used to carve out exquisite figurines out of blocks of stone was asked what inspires him to do what he does, the sculptor said humbly, the images are always there I merely clear out the unwanted rock and the figures emerge. Likewise the beautiful village view was always there. The artist removed the darkness that obstructed my view.
I love the tetradic color scheme of your painting. Your eye for reflected light is also a joy to watch you paint. (especially the reflected greens and the bounced light within the shadow under the roof of the large structure). I disagree with the adding people though. I feel the lack of human figures add a serene deserted feel to the painting, making one wonder if the moment is captured when vacant or if it has been deserted and is slowly being overtaken by nature. Though I wouldn't object to the possibility of a small animal. Without it, I can hear the the breeze bristling through the flora but imaging a small cat in the painting, I suddenly hear the buzz of insects also. Can't wait to see more of your videos. Subscribed!
