Here in Quebec the majority of our days are overcast and without shadow. I'm always having to make up shadows. I really like the idea of exaggerating the lighting (I don't do that) as it improves contrast, a problem with most of my street sketches. Thanks, Liron.
This is an excellent lesson Liron. It can be hard to master it and takes lots of practice. For anyone learning to do this this video will really help. Great job my friend!
It's said half-jokingly (; What I meant is that there aren't any outlines in real life. So painting the actual outlines, rather than the shapes - is kind of like "cheating". Hope it makes sense! P.S. I actually love many artworks that show the outlines, such as ink and wash works.
