I just did this painting today! Your tutorial was very easy to follow along with! I’ve only been doing watercolor for about 5 weeks and this made me feel so good to create! Thank you for sharing your talents!!

I am very new to water colors and this video is already teaching me where I went wrong. I also really love the rain sounds instead of music, really gets you into the painting.

Took a Bob Ross painting class almost 20 years ago in high school. Just happened to be in the dollar store about a week ago saw some watercolor paints in tubes? Grabbed some cheap brushes and a small pack of canvas boards. Had so much fun recreating this. Picked up better set of brushes since then. Also need recommendations on water colors as well. Great vid!!

Wow, that’s beautiful. I got into oil painting for a few months a number of years ago and really enjoyed it, but I didn’t stick with it. I love the portability of water color painting verses oil painting, so I may give this a try. I just retired, so this could be a great new hobby for me, and you make it look very doable. Thank you!

I've recently expanded my media from pencil, charcoal to pastel, ink, and water color. I use many of the same techniques in each media. It is the touch as much as anything else. Watercolor offers much in the way of creativity. His approach was my thought as I began Watercolor. Water lightens, pigment darkens. Blending, shading, light, shadows, tone, all the same light, soft touch of love in every stroke.

I currently am a beginner with watercolor(I usually paint with gouache or acrylic), but have been using the Winsor & Newton Cotman watercolors. They're wonderful for playing around with the medium and learning, but I've been doing endless research on professional or artist grade colors, and I can't seem to choose! They all have their own sets of pros and cons. Thank you again!
