Hi Stacy, you may be interested in Roxanne Steed’s tutorial on angels as well. It’s even looser than Joanne’s and lots of expressionistic fun. I finally got Joanne’s tutorial to work today after many, many tries. I hadn't put my paper on an angle, and I was using the wrong brush (too much point on the tip). So now I'm saying Yay Me, 😂.

I FINALLY got this Joanne. The two things I was doing wrong were firs, I didn’t have my paper on an angle and second, I was using a very pointy brush. So I gave a tilt to the paper and grabbed my trusty Princeton Neptune #6 round since I was painting on smaller paper and it worked! Yay! An Angel that finally has that look at the top of the wings like yours. It’s almost as if the top of the wing is folding over the darker color underneath. That’s what I was trying to get and it just wasn’t happening until today. Thank you so very much for this beautiful tutorial.❤❤❤

I’m looking for a new table, do you have any you recommend in the US? I usually work on canvas with acrylics and I have a large easel but, mostly paint using a wall easel set up. Im looking to do more watercolor and want a table top one.

😂😂😂 true....most angel look like normal human with pants shirt and shoe...just they have multiple layers of wings like layer of onion....his wings a little bit taller then his head, like one feet a little high then his head.... pretty much like most persian angel painting...just they don't dress like persian...in Christian they believe if someone already can see an angel, their lives only 4 week left...nah... already 3 years now and everything quite normal for me.
