This is a true watercolor artist. I just love your painting of trees. Hope to find a book of your paintings and the colors and technique. Love your work!
I have no idea how I ended up here but I'm glad I did! (thank you RU-vid). I'm mesmerised. You make it look sooo easy and I wish I was able to do that - even if I just painted random trees all day long. Well done!
@PepperJuneabee Hello pepper, thank you for your interest. I use tubes because they are creamy even after drying, and the paper i use is a 300 gr. water colour paper. Hope i helped you.!
@anitajansen1 ...beautiful work, thank you for sharing your paintings !...you know, I always had this dream of painting watercolour, but I can't even draw a straight line...thank you very much for keeping my depression alive :-DDD
@bsonenthal1 The speed of this video is almost the normal speed. For some others the speed is adapted to the music. Anyway watercolor painting has to go fast without any pauses to keep the paper wet until the final touch. Thanks for your kind words.
@bsonenthal1 When i paint wet on wet.....the paper must still be moist at the end of the painting. That is why i paint fast. Paper dries fast..............Those trees have been painted on dry paper, but when i paint for an exhibition, i use only the wet method.

Yes i can paint with any brand...but the result will always be different. And yes i used a natural sponge, for one of the trees. But i mostly paint the trees with a brush when i do a painting (not a demo) ....:)
Hi Anita - thank you so much for your videos. I'm trying to learn to be more 'free' with my watercolor, instead of sticking so closely to lines and details. This is really going to help! Can I ask, do you use tubes or a palette of watercolor? And what kind of paper? I think the stuff I have isn't great quality! Thank you so much :)
Love this, have problem making trees look real . you have helped with your technique. Once an area is dry do you go back in to certain areas and re wet before commencing to the next layer. ?
