Really love the final piece, and I would be a subscriber except I just have a hard time with such a sped up video. I didn't want to slow it down because your voice over was interesting. Please do some pieces in real time......your work is gorgeous.

Hi Susan, Thank you for your kind comments and your useful suggestion. I will certainly try and do a piece in real time - but not sure if people will watch me ramble on for an hr. It is something I will certainly look into - perhaps a live stream one day. There is a 15 minute ATC challenge video which is only at half speed (or real time) which explores some of the same mark making in this piece you may be interested in. Thank you for watching x

@@NiamhBaly I hope you do try to make some more detailed , longer videos. I watch alot of youtube tutorials and have noticed that even long time art youtubers , established artists, are increasing the length of their video's.( Its interesting to see what brand or type of paint is being used, how the brush or pen is held, etc, etc......and also to get a more personal feel for the artists work by listening to their commentary, thought process....all of this contributes to an interesting and helpful tutorial) But keep in mind I've never done a tutorial , I'm sure lots of work goes into making one! Good Luck on future endeavors!

Binge watching some of your mark making videos. Usually I watch before I start doing art as I always feel inspired after seeing your work 🥰

Niamh, I think this really beautiful. I thought it looked like someone had blown up a small section of a Klimt painting.

I like what you said about doing "mindless" types of art that is more intuitive than purposeful being a great way to help work out "blocks" that we all sometimes have. I've been working on creating a board book for a few weeks and am feeling totally blocked on the theme I want to use and this technique will hopefully help me resolve my dilemma. I have a hard time just approaching the page or canvas and letting go and what will be will be. Your page became more and more beautiful the more marks you did. Lovely. Thanks for sharing.

This is amazing! How long did it take you to create?
@NiamhBaly

Thanks Kim, It took around an hr to create - maybe a little longer factoring in drying. But the process is fairly quick and organic.
