Waterdog Lakes-San Isabel National Forest-Salida Colorado-Day Hike 

On June 17, 2024 we hiked to Waterdog Lakes both lower and upper lakes. Waterdog Lakes are located in the San Isabel National Forest off of highway 50 right outside Salida Colorado. This is a beautiful area of Colorado. It was a beautiful day and fantastic hike. It's a steep trail but worth the effort. 4.5 miles and 1200 feet of elevation gain.
