Try using hair syrim idk how to speed it but it helps with flyaways and u can spritz it with water

I l armed this braid when I was in school to be a hairdresser, I make one full 3 strand braid section before I start dropping pieces which helps keep it a little tighter and doing it in unwashed hair makes it much much easier or use some dry shampoo and a thickening spray helps too!!!! I hope my tips make it a little easier for you because this is my favorite braid!

It looks a lot easier when someone else is doing it. I always find that it is harder for me to do it on myself than for someone else to do it. Doing it with wet hair makes it easier as well.

I just tried it on my daughter. I just wet her hair completely to avoid fly aways and after I've finished, I just let her hair dry and it looks very similar. Good luck

Sweethearts Hair! Great video but I wonder f you have advice for how to stop the untethered waterfall strands from sliding out of the braid once you're done? My daughters hair is very very silky and it looks nice but if you touch it it just slips out from the brain really easily! It's for a Prom so it has to last all evening!

What do you use to help the curls last? I have a granddaughter whose hair is maybe a little longer than your model in this video. She would like me to do a waterfall braid for prom tomorrow....with loose curls like your models...but not sure what products to use so her large curls will last in her long hair. I'm writting from the US, so hopefully its a product I can access here?

If you're new to this, it takes practice. Give yourself some patience and kindness! You'll get it eventually. The dropping of the hair kept confusing me but eventually you will establish and remember the pattern.
