Velika Gubavica and Mala Gubavica are two waterfalls on the river Cetina. They are less than 20 meters away from each other. Velika Gubavica is 49 meters high, and Mala Gubavica is 7 meters high. They are located near Zadvarje. There is a natural oasis of a calm stream just a few meters from the waterfall. This is why Cetina is suitable for swimming, and you have a close view of the waterfalls. The above viewpoint from which the waterfall is best observed is a bit difficult to find. Carry a good binocular and telephoto lens if you want to see the waterfall. Most of the day it's in the shade of the canyon, so better to visit in the middle of the day when the waterfall is shined with the sun. Entrance free of charge.
