We love being in the beautiful outdoors, and what better way than with our Norwegian Forest Cats?
This is a compilation of Albert and Apollo's first hike to Clearwater and Watson falls in Oregon. The little tabby with stripes and spots on his back, is Albert. And the one riding on my shoulder, is Apollo!
At just four months old, our two boys went on their first long car ride down to Umqua National Forest to experience some waterfall hikes with us. It was new, exciting, and a bit nerve wrecking, though the entire time you can see their tails swishing with curiosity!

We just found out a few days ago that our cat is Norwegian Forest, he looks and acts just like your cats, it's very cool to finally know what breed he is. We take him on walks too, but only in our garden cause there are too many dogs and people outside. I wish more cat owners could take their cats on a walk outside in nature, it's good for both the cat's and the owner's health and I belive soul too.

If you were to go on a walk, would the Norwegian Forest Cat you have run away or would it stay somewhere around you? (For example rottweilers usually stay within sight, while huskies are known to run away. )

@@NorwegieTale Ours are just getting settled. It was clearly very disruptive to be taken away from their people, and moved into a new home. The 3am cuddle sessions are very precious, considering how shy these kitties were when they moved in with us.

BEAUTIFUL CATS. I've had different cat breeds but I am truly convinced that Norweigian Forest Cat truly defines the meaning of a cat. These cats are truly the equivalent of men's best friend. Once you have a Norwegian cat, no matter how pretty or nice other breeds are, you will always want a Norwegian cat, believe me they are very, very special cats, they are family cats. If you ever plan to get a cat, get a Norwegian and you will fall in love with this cat breed guaranteed.

@〔TFGG〕 @〔TFGG〕 Don't get me wrong, I love dogs and cats equally, they are both very beautiful and thankful creatures but each in their own unique ways, but what I am trying to say is that this type of cat/breed is the closest it will get to what a dog represents to a human. One of the advantages that domesticated cats have over domesticated dogs is that they will always be hunters and survivors, even when you die a cat will survive on its own while a dog is like a child who needs to be fed or else he will die.

Hi everybody from Germany Here wehre i live is a old Norwegian Forrest Cat a 12 yeear old one. He is known as a free living cat outside. He is old but so fit that he can climb 10m up a tree and down without falling. And he walks with me to the wild owls that are around here. They know him and he have no fear. His meow is so soft and calm.. i love him and i hope he is with me some more years.

Yeah, they are quite the beasts alright. Once saw a 7'13" lumberjack being taken down by a pack of them: The kittens did what the wolves couldn't, and Chase was done for. The rest of us logger camp workers were still kids so we ran. The family never recovered the body.
