Da Life offers the hike and swim excursion for those that just want to experience and enjoy this beautiful place, without the commitment of doing the rappelling. My wife and I did it and had a wonderful time.
Our fam of 6 (62 year old Dad (recovered from hip replacement!! ) and 4 20 somethings) (Mom hiked and swam in the waterfall) did this in May 2022. It was INCREDIBLE. Guides were AMAZING....safety focus of course but funny as hell. Most amazing experience ever!!!! HIGHLY recommend. Scenery is spectacular. I think the guide in the video was the same guide.
Can't be as beautiful as MCRD San Diego was for us... especially with the motivational drill instructors whispering words of encouragement and good will!
I have done a lot of things on Kaua'i over the years. This definitely looks like one of the coolest things ever. Cannot wait to try it out next time we're on island.
I really enjoy your videos. Always good info and tips. We're 15ish time visitors and you show many things I don't know about. The waterfall rapeling thing, however, is something I don't think my 70 year old body could tolerate
Hey that's me and my husband at the end of this video ☺️ Such an amazing helicopter and tour! thank you SO much Brodi! I'm still dreaming about those views and your accompanying playlist. It was such a fun surprise to have you as our pilot!
Love this video! Thanks so much for covering this company. My hubby Matt was one of your guides, don’t know if you caught his name since it wasn’t mentioned. He told me about you guys and how much fun he had on the tour that day. You got some great footage and this was so fun to watch!
Aloha Madeleine! That's awesome!! They had such a great time. A lot of people have told us they had no idea this was available on Kauai. Thank you for watching!
So if you chicken out at the last minute it looks like the trail getting down there as well as hanging out at the bottom of the waterfall looks like a good time
Not at all Ray, it was an overcast day when I went and rained off and on. The water shoes that they provide really helped, also I think wearing a rash guard is a good idea.
Beautiful, I want to do it. 2 Questions 1. Can you talk about the shoes? 2. Can you push off and slide down and push off and repeat? Fred San Diego Ca. Mahalo
Aloha Fred, Brodi here. They provide you with shoes that work great on the wet rocks. Pushing off is not allowed, they ask that you take it slow and shuffle your feet. I’m not going to lie, the Marine in me wanted to push off so bad. In the end I still had the time of my life
